That it is: its intention 'to i.iprove Seventeenth Avenue South by constructing
eight inch vitrified clay pipe newer along the follovnring line:
Beginning at the north end. of the sevie.r heretofore constructed on
Seventeenth AvenuenSouth at r point 40 feet south of the north
line of , Inglewoo,d. Ad.dit i on and extending thence north along the
center line of Seventeenth Avenue South to a point 150 feet south
of Taclaren Street, said sewer to be provided with one manhole,
one flush. tank and. thirty wye branches being one wy'e branch for
.,each- -lot -or tract of land. fronting upon each side of said. - sewer:
and. the d.oing of si.. -ch other work as May be necessary in connection therewith,all in
accordance with the plans and. specificbati.ons therefor prepared .by the Ci.*ty Engineer and
filed by the City Clerk.
All persons who may desi -e to object to said. proposed iTnprbver:ient are
hereby notified. to appear and. present `such objections at a meeting of the City Commission
to be held. at- its offices in the City Office Building i.n the City of Yakima,``lashington,
at the hour of nine o'clock A.1d. oft 1!' ond.ay, tide 4th day of January,1926, which time and.
place are hereby.fixed for the hearing*of all matters relating to said proposed improve -
ment, all objections thereto and for d -ete mining. the i.lethod of payment therefor, and the
City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to

NOTICE, IS HEREBY GIV_ {N. that the City of Yakiiria,,Jasliington,hereby offers
for sale the following described- bonds, to -twit :
1. Its General Negotiable Coupon Bonds for the principal sum of
1450,000,to bear date of April 1,1926, and niaturing serially in frorl two to twenty -five
years ,payable in twenty four. equal annual. installments (inc)-ud.ing principal arid. interest)
as near as may be,commencing with the second. year after the date of sa id bond.s,said. bonds
drawing interest at a rate not exceeding five -per cent per annurn,payable semi-
annually,
2. Its negotiable special water revenue bonds in the vrincipal sure of
V5 1.,050,000,said bonds being dated.-A_oril 1,1926, and maturing - serially in'frani six to
twenty five years from date, said bonds to draw interest at a rate not exceeding six per
cent per annu *,r,payable serni- annually.
Notice is further given that separate sealed bi.d.s will be received. by
the City. of Yakima, at the office. of the City Clerk in the City Hall in raid City of Ya,kiii�a,

lowest rate of interest at which the bidder. will purchase such bonds at par; the bonds
to be sold-to the bidder making the best bid,subject to the right-of the City of Yakima to
