RESOLLTI`_' %4 N0.B -901, WHEI :REAS, the .Git.y C.ommi scion .of'. the Cit.y -.:of- Yakima, vVashington, by
Ordinance No.A- 930,duly passed and published according to law, authorized the issuance
of c•eneral, negotiable ,serial,interest - bearing coupon bonds of the. City of Yakima,Washingtoi
in the aggregate sure total of $15,000.00, bearing interest at not to. exceed six per cent
(6 %) per annum payable semi- annually;.and
7M- E'REAS, it is provided in said Ordinance that said bonds shall be serial in form
and maturity, and numbered from "1" upward consecutively, and, that said bonds shall mature
annually commencing on the second year and ending not later than-the thirtieth year after
the date of their issuance in such amounts (as nearly as practicable), to be specified by
the City.Commission by re.soluti.on as will, together with the-interest on-.all.outstand.ing
bonds, be met by an equal annual tax levy for the payment of said b'ond.s and. interest; and.
THE -BEAS, it is further provided in said Ordinance that the life of said improvement
is,in,the judgment of the City Cor. .Triission, fifteen (15) years;

WASHINGTON: That said bonds shall be in denominations of '400.00 each and. that they shall
be general,negotiable,serial, interest bearing coupon bonds of the said City of Yakima,
Washington, and that said bonds shall mature as follows:

either at the office of the Oity Treasurer of the City of Yakirz a,fFashington, or at the
Fiscal .rl. in New York City.
BE IT FURrETEER RESOLVED: That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized and.
directed, to advertise and. offer for sale said bonds, heretofore described., and. in
advertising said bonds for sale, the City Clerk shall give notice that .sealed bids for the
purchase of said bonds will be received. by her at her office,. ad.dress specified therein,
until the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 30th day of November,1925; that the
denoraination of each of said bonds (including Bond. No.l) will be $100.00 as above specified
an that said bonds will bear interest on their said. dates at not to exceed'six. per cent
(6 %) per annum, payable semi- annually, and. that both principal and interest will be payable
at the V7ashin; ton Fiscal Agency in New York City, or the City Treasurer's Office in the
City of Yakima,17- asbington, at the option of the holder.
By such notice bidders shall be required to submit special bids specifying (a)
The lotre.st rate-of interest and. the premium, if any, above par at which the bidder will
purchase said. bonds, or (b) The lowest rate of interest at which the bidder will purchase
said bonds at par, said..bond.s to be without cond.ition,i.nterlineati-on, explanation, or
erasure.
Such -n-otice shall specify that all bids shall be sealed and that, excerpt the bid.
of the State of Washington, if one is received., each shall be accompanied. by deposit of
five per cent,either cash or certified check, of the amount of the bid, which shall*be
returned. if the bid. is. not accetated., and that if the successful bid.d.er shall fail and.
neglect to complete the purchase of-said bonds within thirty (30) days after the acceptanc
of his bid., the amount -of his deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Yakima, and that,
in that event, the corporate authorities may, at their option, accept the bid. of the.one
making the next highest.
The notice shall state that the right is reserved. by the City of Yakima to reject
any and, all bids but that no bid may be with drawn after the same shall have been filed
with the City Clerk,unless permission so to do be first obtained from the City Commission.
The .notice, calling for bids for the purchase of said bonds, shall be published
once a week f -Dr four successive weeks in the official newspaper in the City of Yakima, and
a, copy of such notice 'shall be Trailed to the State Financial Committee at Olympia,
Washington, at least three weeks. prior to said. date.
In said n_:)tice, the City Clerk shall include such information pertaining to said
bond as shall clearly explain the same to the intending purchaser ans shall give full in-
formation as to their. character.
