The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, September 28th,1925, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read; carried,Dudley, Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that all bids received for constructing cement concrete sidewalks on South Eighth Strdet in Local Improvement District No.,413, be rejected for the reason they exceed the Engineer's estimate;- carried,Dudley,Hedges and . Traub voting ayebon, troll calla Moved by Traub,seconded by Hedges, that the bid of Wilson and DeBlasio,. in the'sum of $7348.65 for constructing-a pavement on Eleventh Avenue from Division Street to St. Helens Street in Local Improvement District No.412, be accepted as the lowest and best bid and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract therefor upon the.filing-of the proper bond;carr.ied,Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll cal . RESOLUTION NO.B- 900,13E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COTJMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKI1,1A,WrASHINGTO 1 1 I, F_� That it is its intention to improve Twenty- fourth Avenue from West Chestnut Street to Summit View Avenue, all-in the City of Yakima,Washington, by grading and gravel ling the same, the graded roadway to be twenty -four feet in width and the gravelled portion to be eighteen feet in width, and by doing all such other work as may be necessar ih connection therewith,all in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore, .prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Ya.kirla,APi'ashington, at the hour of nine of -clock A.M. on Monday the 26th day of October,.1925,, which time and place are hereby. fixed- for the hearing of all- matters relating to said proposed improvement, all objections thereto, and for determining-the method-of payment therefor, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention.to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed agains all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as provided by law, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing all of the data and other information required by law to be submitted by him.
