The City Co•imission met in regular session, Mayor Dudleyand Commissioner Traub voting
aye on roll call, Hedges absent.
Moved by Dudley, seconded by Traub, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
August 10th,1925, be approved -as read; carried, Dudley and Traub voting aye on roll call
Hedges absent.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Dudley, that the following payrolls from August 3rd to
August 15th,1925, are hereby approved and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants
therefor; carried, Dudley and Traub voting aye on roll call, Hedges absent.

Eleventh Avenue South from Division Street to Washington Street by grading and. paving the
same be postponed to Thursday, August 20th,1925, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Dudley and
Traub voting aye on roll call, L=edges.absent.
Moved. by Traub, seconded by Dudley, that the bond of Wilson and DeBlasio, contractors, in
the sum of $866.94 to-construct cement concrete sidewalks in Local Improvement District
No. 409 is hereby approved and placed on file with the City Clerk; carried, Dudley and
Traub voting aye .on roll call, Hedges abs.ent.

of the improvement in-Local Improvement District No.401, by A.S. Wilson, Contractor' ,': in
the sum of k653.25, said . improvement is hereby accepted and. the .City Engineer authorized
to prepare an assessment roll' therefor and the City Clerk authorized to give notice of
hearing on said. roll for Tuesday, September- 8th,1925, at 9 o' clock F • i. carried., Dudley and
Traub voting aye on roll. call, Hedges absent.

of the improvement in Lodal.Improverient District No. 405 by A.S. Wilson, contractor, in
t'le sum of $1044.00; said improvement is hereby accepted, and. the City Engineer authorized
to prepare an assessment roll therefor and the City Clerk authorized to give notice of
hearing on said, roll far Tuesday,September 8th,1925, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Dudley and.

bids for paving Twenty Third Avenue North from Summitview Avenue to the Pacific Dower
and Light Companys --wastei >>ay in Local Improvement District No.410, and. the bid of
Hardy & Richings, contractors, in the suri of�10,374.55 being; the . loti -lest and best bid
said contract is hereby awarded to there and the Mayor and. City Clerk.authorized to ente
into a contract therefor upon the filing of the proper bond; carried, Dudley and Traub
voting aye on roll call, Hedges absent.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Dudley, that this being the time for receiving bids for
paving South sixth Street from Yakima Avenue to Spruce Street in Local 'improvement
Distric.t No.411, and the bid of the Yakima Paving-Com -pany in the sum.of X19,313.50 for
Biturlinous concrete on a concrete base, being the to -west and best bid, said. company is
hereby awarded the contract and the mayor and city clerk are hereby authorized to
execute a dont-ract therefor upon the filing of a proper bond; carried, Dudley and Traub
voting aye on roll call, Hed.ges.absent.
