Moved by Traub, seconded by Dudley, that this being -the time and place for opening bids for the improvement of the east half of 28th Avenue, in Local Improvement District No. 397, and the bid of Hardy & Richings,c'sntractors, in the sum of $911.53, being the lowest and best bid, it is - ordered -that the contract be awarded to Hardy & Richings -upon the.filing of a proper bond; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye -on roll call. Moved by Traub, seconded by j)udley, that this .being the time and place for opening bids for the construction of cement concrete curbing, walks etc,.; -on South Naches Avenue-from Race Street to Adams Avenue in.Local Improvement District No. 398, and. the bid of Block & Cooper in the -sum of x-893.78 being the lowest and best bid, it is ordered. that the contract be awarded to said Block & Cooper upon the filing of the proper bond therefor; ca- rried, Dudley, Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.
