The City Commission met in regular session, 14ayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and
Traub voting aye on roll call.
11oved by Dudley, seconded by Hedges that the minutes of the regular - meeting - of Monday,.
March 23rd,1925, be approved as read.; carried., Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on moll
call.
T =loved by /Traub, seconded by Hedges, that this being the time and place for opening bids
for the, construction - of a sewer system on Pierce Avenue and other streets in the City of
Yakima, in Local Improvement District No. 396, and the bid of hTcHugh & Coluccio in the
.sum of $86,716.32 being the lowest and best bid, it was ordeted that the contract be
awarded to said.IVIcHugh & Coluccio upon the filing of a proper bond; carried, Dudley,
Ned :ges and Traub voting aye on roll call.
,ORDINANCE NO.A -894, entitled.: "A n Ordinance providing for the grading and paving of
certain streets in the City of Yakima,Vfashington, establishing a -Local Improvement Distric
providing a.method-of payment therefor, and creating a::,special fund ", was introduced. by
Traub and read by the City Clerk.

eighth Aveni..e from West Yakima Avenue to West-Chestnut-Street in Local Improvement
District No. 397; said bids to be received on Wednesday, the 15th day of April,1925, at
10 O'clock A.M.. carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call, -
ORDINANCE NO.A -895, entitled: "A.n Ordinance providing for the construction of concrete
curbs with the necessary sidewalk approaches along certain streets in the City of Yakima,
Vlashington, establishing a Local Improvement District, providin-g the method of payment
therefor, and creating a .special fund ", was introduced by, Traub, and read. by' the City
Clerk.

Naches Avenue in Local Improvement District No. 398, said bids to be received on Wednesday
April 15th,1924, at 10 o'clock A.M. carried; Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll

RESOLUTION NO-B-873, BE IT- RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMESSION OF THE CITY OF YAKI111A,WASHINGTO
That it is. its, intention to improve Fourteenth Avenue South from SAlest Chestnut
Street to Division Street, - Fifteenth Avenue South from West Yakima Avenue to Division
Street, and. Bell Street from.Fourte.enth _ Avenue South to EUxteenth Avenue Sdiuth, all in the
City of Yakima,Yakima County,`4Jashington, by grading and paving the .same with either a one
course Portland cement concrete navement, or with a pavement - ..having a Portland cement
concrete base and either a bituminous concrete wearing surface, or a bithulithie wearing
surface, or a pavement havingna bituminous concrete base and either a bituminous concrete
wearing surface or a bitulithic wearing surface, the pavement on Fourteenth Avenue South
and on Bell Street to be 24- feet in width, the pavement on Fifteenth Avenue South to be
32 feet in width from West Y @,kima Avenue to "Jest Chestnut Street and 28 feet in width
f--"Om West Chestnut Street to Division Street, and by.doing all such other work as may be
necessary in copnection therewith, all in accordance with the plans and specifications
therefor t.o be prepared by the City Engineer and filed tith the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby
notified to appear and present such objec_t.ions at a meeting of the City Commission to be
held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,111ashington, at the
hour of nine o'clock A.M., on l:onday, the 20th day of Apr il,1925, which time and. place are
hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, all
objections thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk
is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention t? make the
aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said, improvement shall be borne by and assessed against
all of the property legally and properly assessible therefor, as provided by law, and. the
City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commi2ssion at or prior to the date
fi..ed herein for said. hearing, all of the data and other information required. b�T . law to be
submitted by him.
