February 23rd:,1925, be approved. as read; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Traub; that the payrolls for the following departments for
the month of February,1925, be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants
ac follows: Various Debts., $1764.96; Engineering Dept., $1547.00; Police Dept.,
$2843.33; Fire Dept. , 84249.99; Health Dept. , $1602-50; Meat Insp. , $216.66 ; Library,
$ 613 .,'r5;Lliscellaneous -,$P658.32; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Traub, seconded'by Hedges, that the street payrolls from February 16th to
February 28th be allowed 'and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor;

RESOLUTION NO . B 870 , BE IT RESOLVEZ BY THE CITY COh� MISSION. OF THE CITY OF YAKIIVIA,
'IASE=GTON :
That it is its intention to improve South Naches Avenue from Race Street to Adams
Avenue, all in the City of - Yakima,Washington, by the construction of concrete curbs along
each side of said street, said curbing .to be placed eighteen (18) feet from and' on each
side of the center line of said street, together with--t-he necessary sidewalk approaches
extending from the existing sidewalks to said curbs, and by doing -all such other work as
may be necessary in connection therewith, all in .accordance; with the plans and. specif-
ications therefor prepared--by-.-the City Engi-n-eer and filed with the City Clerk
All persons who ma.y •de-s'ire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby
notified. to appear and.-p-res.ent_:such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to be
held at its office in the City Office - Building in the City of Yakima,7Iashington, at the
hour of .nine o'clock A.M., -on- hrionda.y, the 23rd day of March,1925, which time, and place
are hereby fixed for the he�.ring of all matters relating to said proposed improvement,
all objections thereto and for determining the method of .payment therefor, and the City
Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to -r:-jake
the aforesaid improvement. --
The cost and expense of said itp.rovement shall. be borne by and assessed against
all of the proxlerty legally and pro-,er_ly assessible therefor, as provided by law, and
the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the
date fixed. herein for said hearing all of the data and. other information required by
lave to be submitted by him.

RESOLUTION NO.B- 871,BF IT RESOLVL'D BY THE CITY COMIMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKI]'_A,WASHINGTON
That it is its intention to imp -rove the east half of the roadway on Twenty- Eighty
Avenue South from Iffest Yakima Avenue-to 'Vlest Chestnut .Street,a:ll- in the City of- Yakima,
Vashington, by grading and paving the same, said pavement to be nine feet in width,.and by
doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance
with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the!" .
City Clerk.
All persons v,,ho may :esire to object to said• proposed improvement are hereby
notified to appear and present-such objections at a meeting of the City.Commission to be
held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,Wa.shington, at the
hour of nine o'clock on-Monday, ;the 23rd day of'March,1925, which time. and place are hereb.,
