November 17th,1924.
II The City Commission met in regular session, 'mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and Traub II
voting aye. on roll call.
Moved. by Dudley, seconded by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
November 10th,1924, be approved as read; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on
roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A -885, entitled: ' "An Ordinance providing for the construction of water mains,
laterals, service pipe -s and. appurtenances, and the acquiring of the necessary water and
water rights for the purpose of furnishing water for irrigation and domestic purposes to
certain property in the City of Yakima, Vlashington,'establishing a Local Improvement
District, providing for the levying and. collection of special assessments, and the method
of payment of,the costs and expense thereof", was introduced by Traub and read by the City
Clerk.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Traub, that Ordinance 1?o.A -885 be passed to its second reading
and. read by title only; carried., Dudley,Hedges and Traub .voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Traub, that Ordinance No.A -885 be passed. to its third reading
and read. in full; carried., Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Traub, that Ordinance No.A -885 be passed as finally read;
carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on.roll call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Traub, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give notice
to contractors for the construction of an irrigat -ion system on West Yakima Avenue and other
streets in the City of Yakima known as Local Improvement District No. 395; said bids to be
received on Monday, December lst,1924, at 10 o'clock A.M. carried., Dudley,Hedges and Traub
voting aye on roll call.
1,4Ioved by Traub, seconded. by Hedges, that the claim of Tdary Dekay a minor, acting by her
mother, Gertrude Dekay, for damages in the sum.of $5200.00 alleged to have been sustained
by falling on-,,,a barbed. wire fence along 8ummitview Avenue is hereby rejected; carried,
Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.

authorized to issue warrants therefor; carried,. Dud.ley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll
call.
