The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and Traub
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dudley, seconded by Traub, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
August 25th,1924, and-adjourned meeting thereof be- approved as- read;• carried, Dtxdley, Hedges
and Traub voting aye on roll.call.
Moved by Hedges „ seconded by Dudley, that the following payrolls be-.allowed-and the City
Clerk-authorized to issue warrants therefor: Various Depts., $1973.29 -.Meat Insp., $26.6.66 ;
Health Dept., l }1668". 53; Engineer's Dept., 1,,1506.94; Police Dept., $2371.00*; -Fire Dept.,
$3714.95; and Miscellaneous, $650.00; carried, Dudley, Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that the following payrolls from August 18th,to August
30th,1924, be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor; carried,

U'ioved. by Traub, seconded. by Dudley, that the bond of R.A. Geary for constructing concrete
cement sidewalks in Local Improvement District No. 392, and Local Improvement District
No. 393, in the sum of $12,309.57 is hereby approved and placed on file with the City
Clerk; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub vot-ing,aye on roll . call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 380, for the constructing of the
Street Lighting System; and no protests being presented in writing or otherwise to
said assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance,confirming
said roll be passed as finally read; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll
call.
Ordinance No.A -861, entitled: "An Ordinance confirming the Assessment Roll covering Local
Improvement District No. 380 as established by Ordinance No. A -815 of the Ordinances of
the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Traub, and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Traub, that Ordinance No.A -861 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only; carried,.Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded,by Traub, that Ordinance No.A -861 be passed to its third readi
and read in full; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.

ORDINANCE NO.A -862, entitled: "An Ordinance fixing the time of delinquency.of the assess-
ments levied for the payment of the cost and expense of the improvements in Local
Improvement,pistrict No. 382, and providing for the issuance of bonds with.coupons
attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof ", was introduced by Traub, and
read. by the City Clerk.
Moved by Dudley, seconded by Traub, that Ordinance No.A -862 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.

RSOLUTICIN NO:B- 864,17IPAS, there has been submitted t'o the City Commission of the City
of Yakima,.a budget covering the detailed estimates of-all expenditures proposed to be
made by the City of Yakima for the ensuing fisca..l year and a statement of the probable
revenue from sources other than taxation for the ensuing fiscal yeaf.,: in the manner and
form prescribed by ° 1 avr; and
11MRBAS, the same has been considered by *the City Cor=ission -in detail and
such revisions and additions made as has been deemed advisable;
NOW THEREFORE, . BE IT RESOLVED . B'_' THE CITY COJ MI. SS ION. OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the aforesaid budget be and the same is hereby adopted and approved as
the budget for the City of Yakima for the ensuing fiscal year and the City Clerk is hereby
directed to give notice that said budget has been completed,..and placed on file, and a
copy thereof will be furnished -any* taxpayer who will call at the office of -the City Clerk
therefor, and that the City Commission of the City of Yakima will meet on the first Monday
i -n October 1924, at the offices of the City Commission in said city at the hour of •9
a'clock A.M. -for the purpose of fixing the final .budget and making the -tax levies and
notifying any -taxpayer that he may appear at said meeting and be heard for or against any
part of said budget, and said notice shall be published once each week for two consecutive
weeks immediately following the adoption of said-preliminary budget.
Adopted by the City Commission this 2nd day of September,1924.

Moved-by Hedges, seconded by Dudley, that the Ci -ty Clerk give notice of hearing on
Resolution No.B -'86.4, being 'a resolution containing the estimated expenditures and receipts
other than those derived- from general taxation for the ensuing fiscal year; said hearing
to be on Monday, October- 6th,1926, at 9 o'clock A -M: carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub
voting aye on roll call.
