The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Dudley and Commissioners. Traub and Hedges
voting `aye on roll call.
I-'foved by Dudley, seconded by Hedges that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday-, July
14th,1924, be approved as read; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.

sure of 1,,923.44 for the' construction.of Portland Cerlent Concrete Sidewalks on Lincoln. it
Local Improvement District No. 38.9,_, is hereby approved and filed with the City Clerk; carried,
Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution
No. 2-856 for constructing a sewer in the New Nob Hill District, and no protests being filed
against said improvement it is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement distric
be laid on the table for one week; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that this being the date for the hearing on Resolution
No.B -857 for the construction of a Portland cement concrete sidewalk on Nineteenth Avenue
South from Division Street-td j'lest Chestnut Street and no protests being filed. against said
improvement, it is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be laid
on the table for one week;_.carried, Dudley,,Hedges. -and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Proved by Traub, seconded. by Hedges, that this being the .date for the hearing on Resolution
No.B -858, for the construction of an irrigation system for Lots 12,13,14,15 & 16 in Block
49. and no protests being filed against said improvement, it is .ordered. that the ordinance
creating a local improvement district.be laid on the table for one week; carried, Dudley,
Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll _call:.
Loved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that the `completion of the improvement of the construct-
ion of the sewer in the alley east of North Ninth Street in Local .Improvement District
No. 385, by the contractors, Coluccio & Erickson, in the :gum of x;52,77.69, is hereby; accepted
and the City Engineer instructed to prepare an assessment roll therefor, and the City Clerk
authorized to give notice of said hearing for Monday, August 18th,1924, a -t 9 o'clock. A.M.
carried, Dudley, Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.

and a acroved the 9th day of June ,1924-, the City of Yakima authorized and provided for the
issuance of its negotiable; serial, interest bearing, *--oupon bonds to be knoinrn as "Fire
Apparatus Bonds,1924" in the aggregate amount of Thirteen Thousand 013,000.00) Dollars, and
oursuant to -Resolution No.B"855, with a view to the sale of said
bonds,' the City Cor;mission has heretofore called for bids, and.

interest, payable semi- annually, and

That the bid of the City of Yakim,- to purchase said bonds at par, bearing
interest at the rate of foilr (4%-) per cent per annum., payable semi - annually, as an invest-
ment for bond sinking fund, be and the same 'is acceDted „and that the date of the
issuance of said bonds is hereb -r fixed as of the lst day �of August, 1924, and that said bonds
shall nature serially,'
erially beginning the second year after the date of said issuance and ending
thirteen years after the date of said issuance of said bonds; that said bonds shall mature
lowest numbers first, without exception, commencing with the second year and ending ,iith
the thirteenth year after the date of issue, in 'such z- ,,nounts (as nearly as practicable) as
will, together with the interest on all 'outstanding bonds, be met by an equal 'annual tax

(1) to One Hundred Thirty (130) inclusive, and the entire issue hereby directed s1_all be
designated as "fire Apparatus Bonds,1924 ";
That the TIL-,yor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed o cause
such bonds to be executed and delivered t.o the City of Yakima, as an investment for its
bond sinking fund, in accordance with the bid of said City of iakima, upon the payment of
the purchase price being made to -the City Treasurer.
