June 23rd,1923.
The City Commission met in regular session, Mayur Dudley and Commissioners-.Hedges and Traub
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dudley, seconded by Traub, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday.,
June 16th,1924, be approved as read; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that the Street, Cemetery and park payrolls from June
9th to Junr 21st,1924, be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follo

I41Ioved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that the City Clerk give notice to contractors for
the construction of an irrigation systerti in Local Improvement District No. 388, as
provided by Ordinance No-A -845, by publication as required.by law; said bids to be
received on Monday,, July 7th,1924, at 10 o'clock A.M. carried; Dudley,Hedges and Traub
voting a',ye on roll . call.
Moved by Dudley, seconded by Hedges, that the resignation of B.H. Smith, 1ileat Inspector,
to take effect July lst,1924', is hereby'-accepted; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Train) voting
aye, on roll call.
Loved by Traub, seconded by Hedges,, that this being the time and place for the hearing
on Resolution No.B-854, for the construction of concrete cement sidewalks along the north
side of Lincoln Avenue from Pierce Avenue to the west line of Modern Addition etc., and
no protests':being presented. in writing or otherwise to said improvement,. it is ordered
that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be laid on the table for one
week; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye .on roll call.
ORDINAIXE, NO-A-845, entitled:" An Ordinance providing for a system of water mains,lateralE
and service pines for irrigation and domestic purposes, for the purchase of the necessary
water and water rights, establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the
levying and collection of special assessments upon the property benefited, creating a
Local Improvement Fund, providing for the issuance of Local Improvement bonds in payment
therefor ", was introduced by Traub and read by the City Clerk.
