on the assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 382 and no protests being pre-
sented in writing or otherwise; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming said assess-

!',�:OLUTION NO.B -853, WHEREAS, a Petition..has been filed, requesting the establishment of
a Zocal Improvement District for the purpose of constructing the necessary pipe lines and
appuretnances and . acquiring the necessary water rights and rights of way in order to
supply various lots and tracts of land with water for irrigation and domestic purposes, 1.111
which said Local Improvement District-is to receive its water supply through the pipe line
of Local Improvement District No. 308, and

ment District be formed for the purpose-of constructing the necessary pipe lines and
appurtenances and acquiring the necessary water rights and rights of way in order to supply
various lots and tracts of land with water for irrigation and domestic purposes,

That the City of Yakima intends, and hereby declares its intention to improve
the following territory, to -wit:
Beginning at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Peach Street, thence
west to Fourth Avenue South; thence north to Queen Anne Boulevard; thence Northwesterly to
Fifth Avenue- south;thence north to the north line of Section Twenty -Five (25), Township
Thirteen (13�, North Range Eighteen (18) E.W.i`a'I., thence east to Broadway Avenue and thence
south to beginning, ..all in the City of Yakima,71ashington. .
This improvement,is to consist of the acquiring of the necessary rights of
way, water and water rights for furnishing water for irrigation and domestic purposes to
all the property above described, and the construction of a lateral bipe line connecting
with the main pipe line of the general water system .of_ the City of Yakima,Vlashington,
located on West Pine Street; and extending thence southerly along the alley east of Fifth
Avenue south to a line twenty feet south of the north line of Section Twenty -Five (25)
aforesaid; thence east parallel, with the north line of said Section Twenty Five (25), to a
line parallel with and 148.3 feet west of the west line of Broadway Avenue; thence south

along said line to a line. parallel with and 104 feet north of the north line of Peach ,Street;
thence west along said line to a line 2 feet west of the east line of Fourth_ Avenue. South;
thence north to a line parallel with and 4 feet southerly from the north line of queen Anne
Boulevard; thence northwesterly .along said line to Fifth Avenue South, together with..
galvanized iron pipe service connections, extending from said lateral pipeline to the
marginal lines' of each lot or tract of lend within said Bist'rict, abutting upon either side
of the lateral pipe line herein provided for, together with the necessary.service connection
for furnishing water for irrigation and dorlestic purposes to all of _the property hereinabove
described; said 'ipe line is to be connected and.receive water.through the pipe lines of the
General Vlater System of the City of Yakima, Vlashing ton, as provided by Ordinance No.A -594 of
the Ordinances of the City of Yakima,`llashington, passed by the City Commission October. 20,
1921, and establishing Local Improvement Dis -trict No. 308.
All of the.costs° and expense of the construction and installation of said pipe
line and appurtenances, acquiring and purchasing easements and right's of way, engineering
and advertising, °-and all other expenses incident thereto shall be assessed -- agains,t all of
the property above described in the manner provided by law.
All �e�rsons who may desire to object to the proposed improvement are hereby
notified' to' appear at;
