The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Dudley and Commissioner Traub voting aye
on roll call, Hodges absent.
Moved by Dudley, seconded. by Traub, that the. minutes 'of the regular meeting of Ida.y 12th,
1924, and ' adj -ourned meeting thereof be approved as read; carried, Dudley and Traub voting
aye on roll ..call, Hedges absent.
RESOLUTION NO. B -852, IhI=T AS;. °a, Petition has been filed, requesting . the establishment of
a Local Improvement District for the purpose of constructing the necessary pipe lines and
appurtenances and acquiring the necessary wate "r rights and rights of way in order to supply
various lots-and tracts of land. with water for irrigation and domestic purposes, which said
Local Improvement District is to receive its water supply through the pipe lines of Local
Improvement District No. 308, and .

Improvement District be formed for the purpose of contracting the.necessary pipe lines and
appurtenances and acquiring the necessary iat-er rights and.rights of way in order to supply
various lots and tracts of land with water for'irrigati.on and domestic purposes,

That the City of Yakima'intends and hereby declares its intention to
improve the following territory, to -wit:
.Lots Seven (7) to Sixteen (16), both inclusive, in Slock_..Two Hundred
Fifty ( 250) in the original Town of North Yakima ( now Yakima) Washington, ac °cording to the
official plat thereof now on file. and of record` in the offi -ce of the Auditor; of" Ya,kii!a
County, Washington.
This Improvement is to.-consist of the acquiring of the necessary water
rights, easements and.-rights of tray for pipe lines, and the construction of
lateral pipe lines, as. .follows: 1 `
The construction of. a pipe .line connecting with the pipe. line he -teto-
fore constructed in-the alley east.-of-Fourth Avenue, North, at or near;the south.line of
Test "A" Street, and extending thence s.oLt.herly along said alley to the alley.North of
West Yakima, Avenue, together with. the necessary service. connections for furnishing water
for irrigation and domestic purposes to. all of the property hereinabove descr.ibed;' said
pipe lines are to be connected and receive water through the pipe lines of the general
water system-of the City of Yakima,Washington, as provided by. Ordinance.No.A -594 of the
Ordinances of the City of Yakima, =asr�ington, parsed. by the City Commission October 20th,
1921, and establishing Local Improvement District No. 308.
All of the costs and expense of the construction and installation of
said pipe lines and` appurtenances', acquiring and purchasing easements and rights of way,
engineering and advertising, and all other expenses incident thereto, shell be assessed
against all of the property.above described in the manner provided by law, and the new
District herein provided for, in addition to the total costs of the-proposed improvement,
shall pay its proportionate share of the costs of said General Water System,. by assessment
against all of the property above described, in the manner provided' by law.
All persons who may desire to object to the proposed improvement are
hereby notified.to; :appear at a meeting of the City Commission to be held in the City Office
Building in the City of.Yakima,Yakima County,Vlashington, at the hour of 9 o'clock A.M. on
Monday., the 9th clay of June,3.924, which time and place are hereby fixed for .the hearing of
all matters relating to said proposed improvement, or objections thereto, ana for
determining the method of paymenti.therefor,.and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of said' hearing, and of the-.-:intention. to make the aforesaid improvement.

Moved, by Traub; - seconded' by Dudley, that the bond of Dingle & DeBlas o, in the sum of
X1867.45 for the construction of an irrigation system for Sub District No. 7 in Local
Improvement District No. 386, is hereby approved and filed with the City Clerk, and. the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract therefor for the doing
of'said work; carried, Dudley and Traub voting aye'on* roll call, Hedges absent.
