Moved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that a Ford truck b'e purchased to be used by the Ele.ctrical Inspector for the new'lighting; system and other work-in connection with the Electrical Inspectors work-; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye-on roll call. Moved by Dudley, seconded by Traub, that the City Clerk give notice by .publication as- required by late, for the sale of the $13,000 bond issue for an American- LaFrance Chemical Engine and a sitelfor a---fire station as provided by Ordinance No.A -840; said bids to be received'on Monday the 16th day of June 1924, at 10 o °clock A.M. carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call. ?SOLUTION NO.B -8511 WHEREAS, Lots Twenty -Five (25) and Twenty -Six (26) and that portion of Lot Twenty Four (241 lying west of the West line of Twelfth Avenue South, in Nob Hill Additi to-'-the Cit of Yakima, ?'lashington, have been offered to the City of Yakima for the sum of Six Thousand (6.000.00) Dollars, payments to be made as follows: Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollar on or before one year from the time of the execution of said contract o -f sale, and` Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars on each and every year thereafter with interest on deferred pay - ments 'at the rate of six (6 %) per -cent -per annum, and. WHEREAS, a Petition' signed by many tax- payers of the City of Yakima,V'lashington, has been presented to the City .Commission, requesting the Commission to buy said property, and V1HE, REAS,. the Park Board of said City has recommended the purchase of the same , and YNTEREAS, the City Commission deems it for the best interests of the community to purchase said property above described, NM3 T170E'FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO12ISS.ION OF YAKIMA, L�IASHIATGTON: That the property above described be purchased for the sum of Six.Thousand ($16000.00) Dollars, -and the City Attorney is hereby.instruc:ted to prepare the necessary contract in conformity with the terms hereinab.ove mentioned, for.-the purchase of the same.
