Moved by Dudley, seconded by Traub, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, February 25th,1924, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read; carried, Dudley, Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO.B- 845:B! IT .RESOL E BY THE CITY C01MM"1ISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKI11A, 1ASHINGTON: That it is the intention of the. City Commission to construct an irrigation system for the following described -property, situate in the County of Yakima, State of Washington, with water for irrigation and domestic uses, to -wit: All that part of the east one -half of the northwest quarter :,f the southeast quart -er of the southeast quarter of Section 23,Township 13, Range 18,E•.T•l.l. , lying south of the Naches and Coviiche Ditck-, and all that part of the west one half :of the vr.est one- half of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 23,Tovmship 13, North, Range 18, E.W.1J., lying south of the Naches and Cowiche Ditch, all within the City of Yakima, 'TTashi.ngton, by the acquirin &_; of the necessary rights of way, water and water rights for furnishing water for irrigation and domestic purposes to all of said property, and the construction of the necessary head`vorks or intake for diverting vtTater from the Naches• and Ccviiche Ditch, and .the construction of a pipe line connecting with said head - vrorks -and extending thence southerly -,long Nineteenth Avenue South to the alley south of -West Chestnut Street, thence east-along said alley to the alley east of Nineteenth Avenue South, thence south along said alley to a point 585 feet south of `:Test Chestnut Street, also a pipe line connecting with the pipe line herein first described and extending thence ,vest along the alley south of Nest Chestnut Street to the alley east of TvIentieth Avenue South., thence south along said alley east of Twentieth Avenue South to' a point 45 feet north of Division Street, together viith galvanized iron pipe service connections extending from said pine lines to the marginal lines of each lot or tract of land abutting upon eith.e: side thereof, all in accordance- with the maps, profits, plans and specifications therefor to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. The City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said. hearing, all of the data and other information required by him to be submitted. The total cost and expense. of the construction and installation of the aforesaid :hater system, the purchase of necessary rights of way, viater and water rights, and all cost: of enf:ineering and s>>r-�T eying, advertising; and clerical labor, and all other expense;: incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed against the aforesaid property, according to the -special benefits conferred thereon. All persons who may desire to object to the proposed improvement are hereby notified to be and. appear at a meeting of the City Commission to be held in the City Office Building in the Cit;T of Yakima,Washing.:ton, at nine (9) o'clock A.M. , on ldonday the 24th day of March , 1924, which time and- place are hereby filled for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, all objections thereto and for determining the metho( of pa.ynent therefor, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said }tearing., and the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. THE CITY OF Y KIYLA,V7ASHINGT That it is its intention to improve the.iest side of Fifth Avenue North, from ,11,.st A Streeti:to ;Test C Street, by the construction of Portland Cement concrete sidewalks six (6) feet in width, and by doing all such other work' as 2ilay be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance viith the plans and specifications therefor, prepared by the City Engineer and filed. with the City Clerk. .Fill- persons ,,iho may desire to object to- said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,111a.shington,. at the hour of nine o'clock A•11,1. on Monday, the 24th day of March,1924, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement; all objections-thereto and for determining the method. of payment therefor, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid. improverrient.
