The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Rovig and Commissioners Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call. Moved by Fraser, seconded by Rovig, that claims on:the Current Expense, Park and Playgrc Cemetery and Permanent Highway 1inds be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call. Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the Street Payroll from June 25th to July 8th, 1923, on the Current Expense Fund in the sum of $985.83; Permanent Highway,$121.50; Cemetery, ?P'159.5C; Cemetery Care Fund, X245.00; and Park Fund, $133-.50 be allowed and the City Clerk autho rized •to issue warrants therefor; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call; Moved by Ialarble, seconded by Rovig, that this being the time and place for receiving bids on Sub- District No. 5 of the General Water System Local Improvement District No. 379, the following1 bids were received; Frank M. Hardy,�8814.85; Coluccio & Erickson,$786.25; said bids were taken under consideration and action deferred to Thursday, July 12th,1923,, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call. Moved by Marble, seconded by Rovig, that this being the time and place for receiving bids on Buena Vista Irrigation District in Local Improvement District No. 378, the following bids were received: Frank M. Hardy, $1051.00; Coluccio & Erickson, 44P1106.70;- said bids were taken under advisement and ac.ti.on deferred -to Thursday, July 12th,1923, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll Ball. ORDINANCE NO-A-796, entitled: "An Ordinance granting to the Northern Pacific Railway Compa its successors and assigns, the right, privilege and authority to construct and maintain. an industry track along a certain alley and across certain streets in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington", tiaras introduced by LTarble 'and read by the City Clerk. 141oved by Rovig, seconded by Marble, _that Ordinance No.A -796 be passed to its second readin and read by title only; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call. Moved by Rovig, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -796 be passed to its third reading and read in full; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.. Moved by Rovig, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -796 be passed as finally read; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call. Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that we do now adjourn•to meet Thursday, July 12th, 1923, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call. Moved by Fraser, seconded by Rovig, that claims on the CurrentExpense, Local Improvement Revolving and*Garbage Disposal Funds were allowed and the City'Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call. Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that all bids received on Sub - District No. 5 of the General Water System in Local Improvement District No. 379, and on the Buena Vista Water System in Local Improvement District No. 378 are hereby rejected for the reason that said bids were too high and exceeded the City E'ngineer's Estina.te; carried, Rovig, Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
