May 14th,1923.
The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Rovig and Commissioners.Fraser and Marble
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting of,Monday,
May 7th,1923, be approved as read; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.

Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that claims on the Current Expense, Cemetery, Cemetery
Care and Park Funds be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor;
carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the street payroll from April 30th to May 12th
on the Current Expense Fund in the sum of 4972.25; Cemetery Fund,$293.00; Cemetery Pare
Fund,$267.75 and Park.Fund,$1784'25 be allowed and the-City Glerk authorizednto issue
warrants therefor; carried, Rovig-,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A- 785,entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the making of a special improvement
in the distribution system of the Maclaren Street iUater System established -by Local
Improvement District.No. 253, establish -ing a local improvement district, providing a method
of payment therefor, and creating a special fund ",was introduced by Marble. and read by the
City Clerk.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -785 be passed to. its second reading
and read by title only; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that..Ordinance No.A -785 be passed to its third reading
and read in full; carried, Rovig;Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll•call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded b-�-- Marble, that Ordinance No.A -.785 be passed as finally read;
carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that inasmuch as the estimated.cost.of improving;.; the
.Idaclaren•Irrigation System, Local Improvement District No. 376• is less than $ 500.00; notice
to contractors will not be published and that the City proceed to construct the improvement'
by face account; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Rovig, that proposal made by Joseph Jacobs to the -City to act
as its appraiser and consulting Engineer in connection with proposed valuation of the
Padific Power and Light Company water system be accepted on the basis of Fifty Dollars
per diem and expenses; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that w4 do now adjourn; carried, Rovig,Fraser and
Marble voting aye on roll call.
