April 23rd,1923.
The Cityr.Commission met in .regular session, Mayor Rovig and Commiss.i.oner.s Fraser and
Marble voting aye *on roll call.
Moved by Rovig,':econded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
April 16th,1923., and ,adjourned meeting thereof be approved as.,:read;• Carr -ied-, Rovig.,Fraser
and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that claims on the Curr.en-t Expense, - Park, Cemetery,
Local Improvement Revolving and Local Improvement Funds be allowed and,.the_ city clerk
authorized to issue warrants therefor; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble'voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by" Fraser,. that this being the time and place. for. considering the
bid of Coluccio & Erickson, contractors, to construct the irrigation•system known as
Sub- District No. 4 of the General Water System, in Local Improvement District No::• 372, and
it being the desire of the property owners abutting upon said improvement to proceed with
the work, the bid of Coluccio & Erickson, Contractors, in the sum of .$10,696.1,5 is hereby
accepted as the lowest and best bid; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll

Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the time and place for receiving bids
on Hillerest Extension Irrigation System in Local Improve-�ent District.No...375, and the
bid of the Campbell Construction , Contractor,- .in- th-e sum of- $384-:80 being the only bid
received, said bid is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized-to enter
into a contract therefor; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting; aye on roll call,
ORDINANCE NO-A-782, entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the taking and damaging of land
for the purpose of establishing a public alley in the City of Yakima,.authorizing the
institution of condemnation proceedings, providing for the payment -of compensation,
damages and costs, and declaring an emergency", was introduced -by Marble, and read by the
City Clerk.
Loved by.Rovig,,seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No..A -782 be passed to its. second..reading
and read by title only; carried, Rovig,Fras.er and Marble voting aye on roll,call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Marble,,tha.t Ordinance No..A -782 be passed to its third r6ading
and read- in full; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No-A-782 be .passed as.finally.read;
carried, Rovig,Fraser and Iarble voting aye on roll call.
