April 9th,1923.
The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Rovig-and Commissioners Fraser and
Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded.. by. Fraser, that the minutes, of- the regular meeting of Monday,
April 2nd,1923, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read; carried, Rovig,Fraser
and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the bond of the Yakima Paving Company in the sum
of x:23,324.92 to construct a.paving on West Maple Street in Local Improvement District No.
373:, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to enter into a contract
therefor; carried, Rovig,Fraser .and Yarble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser,. seconded by Marble; that.claims on the Current Expense, Cemetery and
General Sewer Funds be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor;
carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble - voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO-A-779, entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the construction o-f a system of
water mains and- laterals for the purpose of furnishing water for irrigation and domestic
purposes to and for certain property in the-City of Yakima, Washington, for the purchase
of necessary water, water rights and easements, establi- shing.a Local ..Improvement.District,
providing for the levying and collection of special assessments upon the property benefited
creating a Local Improvement Fund, and providing a method of payment for said improvement ",
was introduced by Marble and readd, by the City Clerk.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by- Marble, that Ordinance No.A -779 be passed to its second readi
and read by title only; carried, Rovig, Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved.by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -779 be passed to its third reading
and read in full; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye .on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble; that Ordi -nance No.A -779 be passed ds finally read;
carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the time. and place for the hearing on
the assignment roll in Local Improvement Distri,ct,No. 370, and no. protests being Iresented.
in writing or otherwise; it is'ordered that the ordinance confirming said assessment roll
be passed; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO-A-780, entitled: "An Ordinance- confi .._ing the assessment roll covering Local
Improvement District No. 370 as created and established by Ordinance No. 739 of the
Ordinances of the City of Yaltima,Vlashington," was introduced by Marble, and read by the
City Clerk.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -780 be passed to its second readi
and read by title only; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
