The City Commission met' in regular session, Mayor Rovig ,and Commissioners Fraser and
Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting- of Monday,
January 29th,1.923, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read; carried, Rovig,
Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by-Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the payrolls for the Street Department from
January 22nd,1923 to February 3rd,1923, can the Current Expense Fund in the sum of $689.54;
and Cemetery Fund in the sum of 174.00'are hereby approved and the CitytClerk authorized
to issue warrants therefor; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Itlarble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Rovig, that claims on the Current Expense and Cemetery Funds
be allowed and the City Clerk authorized.to issue warrant therefor; carried, Rovig,Fraser
and Marble voting aye on roll call..
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Rovig, t'--,.at the bond of Coluccio & Erickson, contractors, in
the sum of $1133.44, to construct a serer on Pitcher Street; Local Improvement District
No. 370, is hereby approved and filed with the City Clerk and the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to enter into a .contract for the doing of said..work;. carried, .Rovig,Fraser
and Marble v.ot-ing aye on roll cell.
RESOLUTION NO-.B"826-,BE- IT-•.RESOLVED BY THE CITY COI1,IISSION OF THE CITY. OF YAKIMA,
WASHINGTON:
That there shall be prepared by the City Attorney a suitable form of contract
for the printing and advertising of the City for the coming year- and- thereupon, the- City
Clerk shall publish a notice calling for sealed proposals for such contracts in the news-
paper doing the City advertising, for two consecutive issues; -,which notice shall contain
a general statement of the terms of the contract to -be let together with the time and
place when said bids will be opened.
Adopted by -the City Cor.,mission., signed and approved this 5th day of February,
1923.

Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, February 9th,

Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the time and place for the hearing
on Resolution No.B -823 to construct an irrigation system .oh Division Street et al, known
as the Hillcrest Irrigation System and no objections being presented..in wir i•ting or other -
wise, it is ordered that the-.-ordinance creating a Local Improve•r.ent District he laid on
the' table until Monday, .February 19th at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,Fraser and Ilkarble
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the time and place for the hearing
on Resolution No-B-824 to construct an irrigation system known as Sub- District'No.a, of
the General Irrigation Water System and a petition of remonstrance being presented by
property owners in said district, it is ordered that a further hearing be had on Monday
February 19th,1923, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by .Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the time and place for the hearing on
Resolution No.B -825 to pave Nest Maple, Division Street et al and a petition of remon-
strance being presented by the p- roperty owners in said district it is hereby ordered that
a further hearing be had on Monday, February 19th,1923, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,
Fraser and Marble voting aye'on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that we do now adjourn
1923, on account of Monday being a legal holiday; carried,
aye on roll call.
