The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Rovig and Commissioners Fraser and Marble
vot -ing aye on roil call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday;
December 26th;;1.922, and adjourned meeting thereof -be approved as read; carried, Rovig,Fraser
and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved ;by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that claims on the Current Expense, Cemetery and Local.
Improvement District Funds be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants
therefor; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Ynrble voting aye on roll call..
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being; the time and place for the hearing on'
Resolution No.13-822 to construct a cement sidewalk on Pitcher Street et nl,:and.no objections
being made either in writing, or otherwise, it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local
Improvement District be laid on the table for one Qeek; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Hsrble
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the awarding of the contract to grade and gravel
Nineteenth Avenue South in Local Improvement District No.367 is hereby- continued to Monday
January 8th,1923,: nt 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call..
ORDINANCE NO.A -737, entitled:t0 An Ordinance providing for the construction of vitrified clay
pipe sewer in certain alleys in the .City of Yakima, establishing a Local Improvement District
providing the method. of payment therefor and creating a special fund ",was introduced by
Marble and read . by the City C? erk.
Moved by Fraser, seconded.by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -737 be pnssed.to its 4eeond reeding
and read by title only; carried, Rovig, Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A ®737 be passed to its third reading
and read in full; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -737 be passed as finally rpad;;
carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble,' seconded by Fraser, that the City Clerk: give notice to contractors by
publication as required by law, to construct -a sewer on North Front Street in Local Improve-
ment District No.369, said bids to be received Monday, January 15th,1923, at the hour of
of 10 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,Fraser. and Marble voting -aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Rovig, that the claim of Daniel Ferguson in the sum of in the all
$10,250.00 for damages alleged to hsve. been,'su4tained by falling into an open ditch at his
residence No. 314 South Nsch`ea Ave., is hereby rejected; carried, Rovig,Frsser and 1Qarble
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that this being the*time and place for receiving bids
on hauling; garbage, and the following being received to -wit: W.G. Aradish,$6,783.00; F.M..
Lindekugal, $6850.00; A.F. McDaniel, $8400.00; W.W. Pettijohn, $7496.00 and Douglas u; Carter
$7700.00;'it -is ordered that the awarding of the contract tie continued to Thursday, January
4th,1923, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried., Rovig,Fraser and Marble votinm aye on roll call.

The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Rovig and Commissioners Fraser and
Marble votinp, eve on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, the the bid of W.G. Aradish, it the sum of $678 3.0C for
haulm; garbage for the. year 1923, is hereby accepted ss the lowest and best bid; said
Bradish to commence work on January 1'Oth,1922, at the monthly rate of $565.25 per month and
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with said Fr`adish
upon receipt of a good and sufficient bond therefor; carried, R.ovig,Frnser and Trarble voting
aye on roll call.
