December 26th,1922.
The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Rovig and Commissioners Fraser and Marble
voting aye on roll call.
Moved,by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting; of MTonday,
December 19th,1922, and adjourned meeting thereof, be approved aR read; carried, Rovig,Frsser
and Marble voting aye -on roll call.
Moved by Marble,, seconded by Fraser, that the awarding of the contract to gr. .nde and gravel
Nineteenth Avenue.South in- Local. Improvement :District No.367 be continued to Thursday,
December 28th,1922 at 9 o'clock A.M, carried, Rovig,Frnser and Marble voting; aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A- 735,entitled:7'An Ordinance fixing.the time of delinquency of the s9sesenents
levied for the payment of the cost and expense of the improvements in Local,Improvernent
District No.329, .and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment
of the unpa =id portion thereof ", wag introduced by Marble and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -735 be passed to its second reading
and read by title only; carried, Rovig,Frsser.and-Msrble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No,A -735 be passed to its third reading
and read in full; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -735 be passed as finally read;
carried, Rovig,Frsser ad Tvlarble voting eye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that a new city jail.and p�alice he adqua rters be erected
on the rear of lots one,two - and three of Block 13, City of Yakima to cost approximately
$20,000 and that Aleck Lundstrom be employed as n'rchitect to prepare plans and' gpeeificstions
for same;.the cost of this- improvement to be paid for through the sale of "City of Yakima
Jail Bonds" payable in five years, interest rate of said bonds to be 5 %; carried, Rovig,
Fraser. and -Marble voting aye on `roll .call.
Yoved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the itemized bid of Coluccio &'Erickson totalling
$29,312.82 for construction of Sub Di6triet No.3 of Gene {ral Water System be :accepted and -
contract be entered intb with them.for the work on that basis, deducting such portion as may
be eliminated by ordinance; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll. call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that we do now adjourn to meet Thursday December 28th,
1922, at 9 o'clock,A.M. . carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on :roll call.

the assessment roll in Locsl,Im.provement District No.340,-snd no objections being presented
in wriiing o.r lotherwise; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming 'the 'aasepGment roll in
said district be passed; carried, Rovig,Frsser and Marble voting Aye on roll call.
ORDIITANCE 110.A -736, entitled: "An Ordinance confirming the assessment roll covering'Locnl
Improvement District No.340, as created and estnblished by Ordinance No.A -6,q of the Ordinance
of the City of Yakima,Vlpshington", was introduced by Marble, and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by fl?arble, that Ordinance No.A -736 be passed to it..,, second. reading
