Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
December llth,1922, be approved as read; carried, Rovig and Fraser voting are on roll call,
Ysrble absent.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fra -ser, that the completion of the improvement in Local Improve-
ment District No.-359, for constructing a cement sidewalk on` South Seventh Street by the
Contractor, Yakima Paving Company, in the sum of $68 "5.95 is hereby accepted and the City
Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for slid district and the City Clerk
authorized . to give notice of hearing on said assessment roll for Yond.ay, JnnW- ry 8th',19'23,
at 9 o'clock A.M; carrier,', Rovig and Fraser voting ?ye on roll call, ?,iarbI absent.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the completion of the improvement of Second Avenue
North by the .constriiction of cement concrete sidpv ✓a1ks, in Local Improvement District-No. 362
by the Contractors., Geary & Dunn, in the sum of 43',016.13', is hereby accepted and the City
Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll in said district, and the City Clerk in-
structed to give notice of hearing by publication as required by law for Monday', January 15th
1.923, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig and Fraser voting aye on roll' call, Marble absent,
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the completion of the improvement of constructing;
cement sidewalks on Chicago Avenue in Local Improvement District No.363, by the contractors,
Geary.& Dunn, in the sure of $848.64 is hereby accepted, and the City Engineer authorized to
prepare an assessment rollnin said district and the city clerk instructed to give notice of
hearing by publication. for TOonday, January 15th,1923, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig and
Fraser voting aye on roll call,, Marble absent.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by`- Fraser, that the completion of the improvement in Focal Improve-
ment District No. 365, for constructing cement sidewalks on Cherry Avenue et`al, by the
contractors, Geary £ Dunn, in :the Rum of $589.66 is hereby accepted and the City Engineer
authorized to Prepare an assessment roll in said district and the City Clerk authorized to
prepare An assessment roll. in said district and the City- Clerk authorized to' give notice of
said hearing by publication for Monday, Jams =pry 15th,19 23, At 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig

sidewalk on Broadway Avenue et al, in Local Improvement District No.356 by the - contractors,
Coluccio & Erickson; in the sum of $1305.33, is hereby accepted °and the City Engineer author®
Ized to prepare an asGessment.roll in said district and the °City Clerk authorized to give
notice by publication as required by law of said hearing for Monday, January 15th;1923, at
9 o'clock A.M . carried, Rovig and Fraser voting nye.on roll call, Marble absent.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the bids for grading and graveling Nineteenth
Avenue.South, b -y the following, contractors were received and the awarding of the-contract
postponed to Friday, December 22nd,1922, At 9 o'clock AN , for sand loam binder, Geary &
Dunn $3609.0,?; R.M. Hardy, $3493.60; Ynkima Paving Compsny,$3244.20; Coluccio R.. Erickson,

The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Rovig and Commissioners Frns -er and
Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the time Arid place -for the, henr.ing on
Resolution Yo .'R-P21, to construct a sewer -on North Front Street et al, and no objections
being presented in writing; or otherwise, it is ordered that the ordinance creating A locnl
improvement district be laid. on the table until Tuesday, January 2nd,1.923; carried, Rovig,
Fraser and Yarble• voting aye on roll call.
Moved*by Fraser, seconded by Rovig, that claims on the Current Expense, Cemetery, PArk and
General Sewer Construction be. allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants
therefor; carried, Povig,Frnser and Ygrble voting Pye on roll call..
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the awarding of the contract for grading: and
graveling Nineteenth Avenue South,. be continued to Tuesdaiy , December 26th, 1922, st 9 o'clock
A.M. carried, Rov.ig,Frager and Marble voting aye on roll call,
