The City Commission met in regular session, Veyor Rovig and Commissioners Fraser and Marble
voting aye on roll call. t
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
October 30th,1922, and - adjourned meeting thereof be a -pproved as read; carried, Rovig,Frsser
and Marble voting-aye on roll. call.
Moved by Fra.eer, seconded by Marble, that claims on the Current Expense, Park and Cemetery
Funds be-allowed and the City Clerk nuthorized to issue warrants therefor;,carried, Rovig,
Fraser and R"arble- voting aye on ro11- call..
Moved by Fraser, seconded by I!Prble ,- that the bond of Forrest F. Herring, Deputy City
Treasurer, in the sum of ' 15000.00 -is hereby approved and filed with the city clerk; carried,
Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call..
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the •tine and place for the hearing on
RPSOlut. ion- No.B -818 to construct cement concrete sidewalks on the east Ride of Prosdwa•y
Avenue_ from Stewart Avenuet etc., and no protests being -presented in writing or otherwise,
it is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be laid on the table
for one week; carried, Rovig,Fraser and 10'arble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig,•secorided by Marble, that Arthur Jones appearing with Attorney Kohlhawe, being
examined with regard to-two arrests in police court, substantiated by officers Storgsard
and Howatt, should not be permitted to operate Autos for Hire, and his license be. revoked,
effective immediately. License Plate, No.26, License No. 2057; carried, Rovig,Fraaer and
Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the time and place for opening bids on
Sub- District No.2, General 71sterlSystem in Local,Improvement District No.364, snd,the'
following bids being; received -to- v,?.t•: Bert Hartwell, w4579.50; Coluccio and Erickson,
$5397.55; Ynkims Paving Co. , $49,37..95; R.M. Hardy; "5558.85; Campbell. ,Corgtruction Company,
$5275.00; Ceaxy & Dunn, 15411.92.
It iG ordered that the bid of Bert Hartwell: in the sum of
$4579.50 is hereby accepted an t) e tlovrest and best bid for doing said work; carried, Rovig,
Fraser and garble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the time for the he -irirg on the
as^psGr.ent roll for constructing a Geyer or Sixteenth Avent.ie So+u:th et al -in Local improvement
District No. 329,-snd no objections be filed in writing or otherwise; it is ordered that the
ordirmce confirming the assessment roll in said district be passed; carried, Rovig,Frneer and
Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being, the time and place for opening bids for
the construction of a sidewalk on Chicago Avenue in Local I±rproveuient District No. 363, -snd
the following bids being received, to -wit: Geary & Dunn, t949.81; Coluccio 8r Erickson,
$882.50 and Yakima Paving Company $882..50, it is ordered that the bid of Geary & Dunn,
Contractors, in the sum of •849.81 be accepted as the lowest and best bid for doing said work

City Clerk.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance rio .A-715 be pa s.red to its second reading
and read by title ohly; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll. call.
