October 23rd,1922,
The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Rovig and Commissioners Fraser and Marble
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting of 101'ondny,
October 16th,1922, be approved as read; carried, Rovig-,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll
C.911.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Rovig, that this being the time and place for t;he hearing on
Resolution No.B -817, to construct a cement sidewalk on Cherry Avenue and no protests being
presented in writing or otherwise, it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local
Improvement District be laid on the table for one week; carried, Rovig;Fraser and Marble
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by-Fraser, that the bond of Coluccio and Erickson, contractors,
for -const-ru -cting cement- sidewalks on North Eighteenth Avenue in Local Improvement District
No.361, in the sum of $1007.27 is hereby approved and filed with the city clerk, carried,
Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the City Clerk: give notice to contractors for
constructing a sidewalk on the east side of Chicago Avenue from West Yakima Avenue to West
/4A" Street et al, in Local. Improvement District No. 363; bids to be received on gonday,
November 6th,1922, et.the hour of 10 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting
aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the City Clerk giver:notice to contractor for the
construction of Sub Irrigation District No. 2 on West Chestnut Street-et al., in Local
Improvement District No'. 364, bids to be received Monday, November 6th,1922, at the hour of
10 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,Frnser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A -706, entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the construction of concrete side -
walks upon certain streets in the City of Yakima establishing a Local Improvement District.,
providing the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund10, waq::tntroduced,by
Marble and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No -A -706 be passed to its second reading
and read by title only; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -706 be passed to its third reading
and read, in full; carried, Rovig,Fraser and garble voting aye on roll call,

water and water rights for the purpose of furnishing water for irrigation and . domestic

Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -707 be passed as finally read;
carried, Rovig, Fraser and Marble voting eye on roll call..
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that this being the time and place for the hearing
on the re- assessment roll in Local Improvement District No.330, and no objections being
presented in writing or otherwise, it is ordered that the ordinance confirming said re-
assessment roll be passed; .carried, Rovig, Fraser And Marble voting aye?,on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A -708, entitled: "An Ordinance confirming the re-&!7sessment roll covering
Local improvement District No.330, as created and established by Ordinance No.A -587 of the
Ordinances of the City of Yakime,Wnshington,was introduced by Marble, and read by the City
Clerk .
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -70P be passed to its second read-
ing and read by title only; carried, Rovig,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that Ordinance No.A -7018 be• passed to its third reading
