The City Commission met in regular session, Yayor Rovig and Commissioners Fraser and
Marble voting ayc on 1-011 call,_
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting of noonday
September 25th,1922,.and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read; carried, Rovig,
Fraser and burble voting aye on roll. call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by lla-rble, that the payrolls for the month of September,19.22,
on the following departments 'i,e all owed, and the City Clerk authorized to issue warr:irts
therefor: Wirious Depta:, $2056.63; Engineer's Dept., .260.8.30; Health Dept,, $895.00;
police Dept. ", $2360.00; Fire Dept., X3363.70; Cemetery Dept., 135,00;.Garbnge Disposal.

X189.00 be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to`i4sue warrants therefor; carried, Rovig,

Armstron;; Avdnue -came on for hearing; them being several protests against said improvement
further `action in the matter is hereby indefinitely postponed; carried, Rovig,Fras'er and
Marble voting aye on roll call.

Ordinance No: A -7100, entitled: An Ordinance to make, determine and decide the amount of
taxes .to be levied upon the real and personal property in the City of Yakirin Tns- hington,
and fixing the tax levy for the year 1923 ", was introduced by Fraser and read by the
City Clerk.

That it is it's i.rtention to improve the north side of Cherry Avenue from Sixth
Avenue North to Fourth Avenue North, in the City of Yakima, by the constructiun C)f a
Portland cement concrete sidewalk five feet in width, and the neces znr cross- vYalks t.hero-

All persons .+.who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby
notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to be
held at its offices in the City Office Building, in the City of Yakima,Tashingtor, at the
hour of nine o'clock A.M. on lkTondny, the 23rd day of October,1922, w1lich. time and place are
hereby fixed for the hearing of r.11 matters relating to Said proposed improvement, ail.

is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to mike the
aforesaid improver ent .
The cost and expense of said impr.ever.•;ent sh:-ill be borne by and assessed against
all of the property legally and properly aesessible therefor Ps provided by law, and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commi s:i on st or prior to the date
