The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Rovig and Commissioner Fraser voting aye
on roll call, Marble Absent. .

Moved by Fraser, seconded by Rovig, that claims on the Current Expense be allowed and the Cit
Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor; carried, Rovig and Fraser voting aye on roll cs

Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the construction of the irrigation system in
Local Improvement District No. 342 by the contractor, J.M. DeFlnsio, in the .suit of $1051.06
is hereby accepted and. the City Clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on the assessment
roll on Tuesday, September 5th,1922, nt 9 o'clock A.M. carried., Rovig and Fraser voting aye
on roll cell, Marble absent.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the construction of cement concrete sidewalks in
Local Improvement District No.349, by the contractors, Geary & Dunn, in the sum of $516.87
is hereby accepted and the city clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on assessment roll
on Tuesday, September 5th,1922, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig°,.and Fraser voting aye on
roll call, Marble absent.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the construction of a cement -concrete sidewalk in
Local Improvement District No. 350, by the contractors, Geary & Dunn, in the gum of $1122.99
is hereby,accepted and the city clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on assessment roll
on Tuesday, September 4th,1922,,st 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig and Fraser voting . e on

District No.344, by the contractors, Geary & Dunn, in the Wum of $853..50, is hereby accepted
and the city clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on*the assessment roll on Tuesday,
September 4'th,1922, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig and Fraser voting aye Qn roll call,

Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the bond of Coluccio and Erickson in the sum of
$2819.:10 for 'constructing cement sidewalks in Local. Improvement District Nos..354 and 355
is hereby approved and filed with the city clerk; carried, Rovig; and Fraser voting; aye on
roll call., Marble ,absent. ,
ORDINANCE NO.A- 678,.entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of South Third
Street by grading and paving the game, establishing; a Local Improvement District, providing
the method of payment therefor, and creating a special_ fund ", was introduced 'by Rovig and
read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Rovig, that Ordinance No.A -678 be passed to its second reading
and read by title only; carried, Rovig and Fraser voting aye on roll call., Marble absent.

RESOLUTION NO .B -809, PF IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY Colva ISSION OF THr, CITY OF YAK119A,VrASHIIJGTON.
That it is the intention of the City Commission to improve Nineteenth Avenue
South :by constructing a 6 inch vitrified clny`.,pipe sewer along the following line:
Beginning at the north end of the sewer heretofore constructed on Nineteenth
Avenue South st -a point 35 feet south of the north line of Inglewood Addition and extending
thence north along the center like of Nineteenth Avenue South to the center line of Nsclsren
Street, said sewer to be provided with one Manhole, one flush tank and thirty wye .branches,
being one wye branch for each quarter acre tract fronting upon each side of said sewer, and
by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance
with the plans and specifications therefor, prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the
City Clerk. t . t.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby
notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Ccmnis'sion to be
held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Ynkit?mn, `Vaghington, at the
hour of 9:00 o'clock A.M_ or Tuesday the 5th day of September. ,1.922, which time and. place are
hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, all
objections thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk is
hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid
improvement,
The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and asst. =:g -ed
against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor es provided by law, and
the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or.-prior to the d*te
fixed herein for said hearing all of the data and other information required by law to be
submitted by him.
Adopted by the City Commission this 14th day of August,1922.

Moved by Rovig,, seconded by Fraser, that the City of Yakima enter into a contract with the
Natchez and Cow,yche Ditch Company to construct °and perpetually maintain a timber crib or
diversion dam complete for the irrigation water system dated August 14th,1922; carried,
Rovig- Rnd Fraser voting aye on roll call, Marble absent . `

for the construction of a community house on the City Park grounds and no contractors having
