July 31st,1922.
The City Commission met in. regular session, Mayor Rovig and Commissioner Fraser v -oting aye
on roll call, Commissioner l"arble absent.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by' Fraser,' that the minutes of the meeting of Yondn y, July 24th,
1922,` at 9 o'clock A.M. be approved as read; carried, Rovig and Fraser voting aye on roll
call, Marble absent.
Moved by Rovig, eeconded by Fraser, th=at the followi.ng.bids for constructing a sidewalk
on Summitview Avenue in Local Improvement District No.354 by Geary & Dunn, in the sum of
22 cents per square foot and Coluccio & Erickson in the sum of 21'j cents per square foot
were received and the bid of Coluccio R: Erickson be ,Faccepte;d as the-lowest and best, bid;
carried, Rovig and Fraser voting aye on roll. call, Marble absent.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by* Fraser, that the following bids for constructing a sidewalk
in Highland Addition 'in Local improvement District No.355 by Gea,ry & Dunn in:the sum of
22 cents per square foot •and Coluccio 8; Erickson in the sum of 21-• cents per square foot
were received and the bid of Coluccio and Erickson accepted as the lowest and best bid;
carried, Rovig and Fraser voting aye on roll call, Marble absent.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Rovig, that the hearing on Resolution No. P -802 be continued
to Monday, August 7th,192.2, at 9 o'clock A.M; carried, Rovig; and Fraser voting aye on roll
call., Marble absent..
Moved by Fra.ser, seconded by Rovig,-that the hearing on Resolution No.13-803 be continued
to Monday, August 7th,1.922, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig and Fraser voting aye on roll
call.., Marble absent.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Rovig, that we do now adjourn to meet Tuesday,-August 1st,
1922, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig and Fraser voting aye on roll- call, Marble absent.

;Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the payrolls for the month of Jul,y,1922, on the
following departments are.her.eby allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants
therefor: Various Depts, $2056.63; Fire Dept., $3353.87; Health Dept., '0896.10; Police Dept,
$2453.66; Meat Unspection Dept., $396.66; Sanitation Dept.., $850.00; Engineer's Dept.,
$2779.60; Cemetery Dept., $135.00; and Library $587.30; carried, Rovig and Fraser voting
aye on roll call, Marble absent.
Moved by Rovig,seconded by Fraser, that the constriction of the paving on Sixteenth Avenue
in Local Improvement District No.296, by the contractor, R.M. Hardy, in the sum of
$7471.89, is hereby accepted and the`. City Clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on
the assessment roll, said hearing to he Monday, August 28th,1922, at 9 o'clock A.M; carried,
Rovig and Fraser voting aye on roll call, Marble absent,.
