The City Commission met in regular meeting, Mayor Rovig and. Commissioners Fraeer and Marble
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the .regular meeting of Monday,
June 19th,1922, and adjourned meeting thereof 'be approved as read; carried, -Rovig,Frsaser
and Marble voting ayei on roll call.
Moved by Fraser, seconded by Marble, that claims on the Current Expense, Cemetery, Dark and
Road and Bridge Funds be allowed and 'the City. Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor;
carried, Rovig,Fraser and garble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Rovig, that the payroll for the Street Department, Cemetery
and Park abd Playground from Jvne 12th to June 24th,1922, on the 'Current Ex,
�ense Fund in
the sum of $803,70; C =eneral Sewer System, $446.00; - Permanent Highway, $74.00; Cemetery,
$279.00; Cemetery Care, x231..00 and Park $201.7.5, and the City Clerk authorized to issue
warrants therefor; c ,-srried, Rovig,Fraser •and Marble voting; aye on roll call..
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that warrant No.1019 on the Cemetery Fund•in the sum
of $3.50; Warrant No. 458 on the Permanent Highway Fund in the sum of X14.00; and warrant
'No. 24780• in the sum of $63.00;, dated July 13th,1.921, respectively arid issued to W. Lsuretsoi
be and the same are hereby assigned to the City Treasurer and the City Treasurer 1srhereRy':-}
directed to pay over to J.C. McGinley or his attorney the amount of esi.d warrants. This
assignment is made by reason of an order entered in the Superior Court in the case of City
of Yakima vs. J.C.McGinley; carried, Rovig,Frs ser and Marble voting aye on roll call..
Moved by Marble,`seconded by Fraser, that the bid of J.M. DePlssio in the sum of "960.86 for
the construction of sin Irrigation System in Loma Vista Addition in Local Improvement Distric
N0.342 is hereby accepted aQ the lowest and befit bid; the firm of Geary &.Dunn the only
other bid received be,irig; the sum of $1023.70; carried, Rovig,Frs§er and Marble voting aye
on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded•by Fraser, that the bid of R.M. Hardy, Contractor, to construct
a serer in the alley.,east of Proadway Avenue in the sum of 04105.15 in Local Improvement
District No.345 is hereby accepted; same being the only bid received for said improvement;
carried., Rovig,,Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that eh bid of Geary & Dunn, contractors, to construct
a cement concrete sidewalk on East Yakima Avenue and Moxee Avenue,J.in the sum of ?520.03
Local Improvement District No,349 is hereby accepted; enme being the only bid received for e
improvement;. carried„ Rovig,Fraser Arid Marble voting aye on roll call.

a' sidewalk on South 7th Street in the sum of $1042.13, Local Improvement District No.350
is hereby accepted; same being; the only bid received for.snid improvement; carried, Rovig,

RESOLUTION 140.B -802, BE IT. RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO1T_hr,ISSIO!i OF THE CITY OF-:- YAKIMIA,
WASHINGTON:
That it is its intention to construct a vitrified'clsy pipe sewer, R inches inside
diameter, in the alley east of North Fourth Street, beginning at the north end of the sewer
heretofore constructed in Block 90 in the originel town of Yakima, At.a point 5 feet south
of the south line of A Street, thence northerly along; the center line of said a1Ley to a
point 10 feet south of the north line of C Street, said sewer to be provided with .l manhole
1 flush tank and 34 wye branches, bet.ng 1 wye branch for Paeh lot abutting upon the
improvement, and by doing all such other work ns may be'necessary in connection therewith,
All in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, prepared by the City Enginere.z
and filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who ray desire to ob.ect to said proposed improvement are hereby
notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the city commission to be
held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City' of Yakima, Wsshington, At the
hour of 9 o'clock A.M. on Monday, the 17th day of July,1922, which time and place are
hereby fixed for the hearing of. all matters relating to said proposed irr_provement, all
objections thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk
is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the
aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and as�seRaed against
all of the property 'legally and properly assessible therefor as provided by law, and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the CitybCommisRion at or props° to the 'date
fixed herein for said hearing all of the data and other information required by law to be
submitted.by him.

Yakima Paving Company, in the`sum of $14,968.83 is hereby accepted and the City Clerk
authorized to give notice of henring,on the assessment roll by publication as required by
law; said hearing to be had on Monday, July 54th,1922, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Rovig,
Fraser And Marble voting aye on roll. call.
