voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Rovig, seconded by Fraser, that the minutes of the regular meeting of T,�ondsy,
June 5th,1922, and adjourned meetings thereof, be approved as read; carried.,, Rovig,Fraser

under Resolution No.11-788 for constructing cement sidewalk on Adams Avenue, which was laid
on the table Monday, Jur►e 5th,1922, to be passed at this date, be not passed for. the reason
that a protest by a majority of the property owners was presented and the improvement is

OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA,WA.SHINGTON:
That it is its intention to improve South Third Street from Walnut Street to its
intersection with South Second Street by grading and paving the same with either a one
course Portland cement concrete;pnverent or with a pavement having a bituminous concrete
wearing surface and either a Portland. cement concrete base, a• black base or a crushed rock
base, or with a pavement having a bitulithic wearing surface and either a Portland.. cement
concrete base, a black base -or a crushed rock base, the pavement to be 60 feet in width from
Walnut Street to Spruce Street, ;;50 feet in width from Spruce Street to Maple Street,and 24
feet in width from Maple-Street;to the extension of South Second Street by constructing
combined curbs and gutters.along both sides.of said pavement from Walnut Street to Maple
Street, together with the necessary culverts, pipes and drains for drainage and irrigation
purposes and concrete walks at .street intersections between Walnut Street find Ainple Street,
and by doing. all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all 'in accord-
ance with the plans and specifications therefor, prepared by the City Engineer and filed
with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby
notified to appear and present' such objections at a meeting of the City-Commission to be held
in its offices in the City Office Building, in the City of Yskima,Wpshington, at the hour of
9:00 o'clock A.N. on Monday, July 3rd,1.922, which time and place are hereby fired. for the
hearing of ell matters relating ; to said proposed improvement, fall. objections thereto and
for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City.Clerk is hereby directed to
give due notice of said hearing! and of the intention to make the nforessid improvement.
The cost and- expQnse. of : staid improvement shall be borne by and %sensed against all
of the property legally and-properly assessible therefore ss provided by law, and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed
herein for said hen.ring all of the data and other information required by law to be 'sub-
mitted by him.

RESOLUTION NO . B -798 , BIT IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF- THE CITY OF YAKIMA,WASHINGTON :
That the action of the City Commission.heretofore taken on -the 5th day of
June,1922, cancelling and revoking the license of 7%J. Clark, to operate automobiles for
hire within the City of Yakims, nshington, be and the same is- hereby set aside end held for
naught and that the said license be restored totthe said W.J. Clark with all rights the reund
and 91.1 license plates taken from him be returned.
