Moved by Marble, seconded by Fraser, that the Bond of Geary & Dunn Contractors,in the sum of $1600.69 for paving t-he alley in ??lock 71, .Local Improvement District No._ 343 is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk hereby authorized to enter into a con -tract therefor; carried, Rovig, Fraser and Virble voting sye on roll call.. Moved by Marble, seconded by Rovig, that the completion.of the paving of the alleys in -Blocks 10,30,50,7r, ), 90 ,11 , 31 , 51 , 71 and 91 in Local Improvement District No.. 333, by the Contractors Geary & Dunn in the sum of $18,675.95 b.e accepted and the City Clerk hereby authorized to give notice of hearing on the assessment roll; said date to be heard on Monday the 12th day of June 1922, at 9 o'clock A M. carried, Rovig, Fraser and Warble voting aye on roll call. Moved by Marble, seconded by Rovig, that Howard -Kitchell of Yaches, Wash., (Nile Route) be employed to make record of water conditions and supply in the Rattlesnake Watershed at a salary. o.f $3.00 per month, his work to be supervised by the U.S.R.S. Work_ to commence May 24,1922; carried, Rovig, Fraser and Marble voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO.B -791 , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIITA,V /ASHIF1GTO That it is the intention of the City Commission to construct 8 inch vitrifi clay pipe sewers along the following lines: Beginning on Pacific Averiu.e at the sewer heretofore constructed in the �a1.le east of South Seyenth Street, thence west along Pacific Avenue to the alley east of Nraches Avenue, thence Northerly along the alley east of Naches Avenue to s point 35 feet south of the south line of Beech Street., also beginning on Pacific avenue at the alley east of South Sixth Street.., thence northerly in the glley;-east of South Sixth Street to a point 35 feet south of the south line of Beech Street, said sewers to be provided with six manholes, two flush tanks and one hundred and six y7ye branches,being one wye branch for each lot abutting, upon the lines of the eevrers herein described, ?.r.d by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire tor. object to said proposed improvement are h.ereb notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,VJaGhington, at the hour of 9:00 o'clock A.M . on Monday, the 12th day of June, 1922, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, X11 objections thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the ":intention to make the aforesaid improvement. RESOLUTION NO.B =792, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF TI-7E CITY OF YAK 11"A.,WASHINGTO That it is the intention of the City of Yakirna to construct a cresote wood stave pipe along the following line to -wit;: Beginning at the intersection of West Yakima Avenue, and Sixteenth Avenue North, thence east along the north side of West Yakima Avenue to the alley west of Chicago Avenue thence north along said alley to a point 40 feet south of West A Street, slid pipe line to be 5 inches in inside diameter for the first 280 feet, 4 inches inside diameter for the next 425 feet, and 3 inches inside diameter for the remaining 540 feet, together with one 5 inch gate valve, one blow off and 170 feet of f inch service connections, for the purpose of supplying water for irrigation and domestic purposes to Lots 9 to 16 in PTock 1 of Ray's Nob Hill Addition; Lots 1 to 6 of Fiehn's Addition; Lots 1 to 7 in TTob Hill, , Addition and Lots 1 to 7 in Flock 430 of J.D.
