The City Council met in- regular session, Mayor Larson, Councilman Brazier, Lemon, Lynch, Munger
and Robinson, City Manager Smith and City Attorney Andrews present on roll call. Councilman
Kurbitz absent on roll call. The Clerk of the Council having explained that Mrs. Kurbitz had
called and informed him that Councilman Kurbitz has been detained in Pasco due to car trouble, it
was MOVED by Robinson, seconded by Lynch that Councilman Kurbitz be excused from this meeting:
carried, Brazier, Larson, Lemon, Lynch, Munger and Robinson voting aye by voice vote.

The minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday the 12th day of November, 1963, were approved as
read.
This being the time fixed for the hearing on the Assessment Roll for "''.I. D. No. 901, Car- iage Hil--
Water District, and there being no protests in writing or otherwise, it was MOVED by Robinson,
seconded by Munger that Ordinance No. 479 confirming said assessment roll, be passed as read:

ORDINANCE NO. 479, AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement
District No. 901 as created and established by Ordinance No. 353 of the Ordinances of the City of
Yakima.
This being the time fixed by the City Council for the .meeting with Mrs. Leroy Brackett, the initial
in,g signer on, a Notice of Intention to Commence Annexation Proceedings filed with the City Clerk or
November 1, 1963, and Mrs. Brackett being present and agreeing to assuming her .share of the Cityts
indebtedness in connection with the annexation of certain property North of Englewood and West of
58th Avenue, more fully described in said notice, it was MOVED by Robinson, seconded by Munger that
the annexation as proposed by Mrs. Brackett be accepted by the City of Yakima and that the area to
be annexed be required to assume its share of the cities existing indebtedness: carried, Brazier,
Larson, Lemon, Lynch, Munger and Robinson voting aye by, voice vote. Kurbitz absent. !City ,,
Attorney Andrews then indicating that the petition can be signed and filed at this meeting, it was
goved by Munger, seconded by,Lemon that Petition No. 236 as filed by Mrs. Bracket at this meeting,

mount of $29,361.15 for De Blasio Brothers in conjunction with their work on 16" Domestic Water -
