Commissioner Huza absent. The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, May 17th 1954 and adjourned meeting thereof, were approved as read. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C -1121, providing for the construction of a sewer for Lots 1 to 16, inclusive in Hillacre Addition, and therebeing no objections in writing or otherwise to said improve- ment, or'any part thereof; it is ordered th_i.t Ordinance No. B -1561, creating a Local Improvement District for said improvement be passed as read, carried: Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call. Huza absent. ORDINANCE NO. B -15611 AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of certain property by constructing a pipe sewer with the necessary wye branches, extensions, manholes, flush tank, and water connection therefor; establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns that Resolution No. C -1128 providing that the proper city officials be permitted to collect assessments for the construction of a sewer for the Mc Clure School, which school has paid the amount of the cost of said improvement, and is to be reimbursed from the City of Yakima through its Sewer Mdttenance Fund as soon as the City has collected said assessments from other property owners in said district; be passed as read, carried: Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call. Huza absent. RESOLUTION No. C -1128, WHEREAS, the Mc Clure School has heretofore paid the cost of construction of a sewer line from and in the vicinity of said school; and said school de- sires to be reimbursed therefor by other property owners in said district who may be using the said sewer line; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the appropriate officials of said city are hereby authorized and directed to deposit and hold in the sewer maintenance fund all sums which may be hereafter paid to the city by other property owners in the vicinity of said Mc Clure School who desire to use the said sewer; and thereafter all such sums so received by said city pursuant hereto shall be subsequently paid by the city to said Mc Clure School for the purpose of reimbursement of said sewer construction costs. day of May, 1954. ADJOURNED '=MEETING, TUESDAY, MAY 25th, 1954, 10 :00 O'CLOCK A.M. The City Commission pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Burns and Commissioner Huey present on roll call. Commissioner Huza absent. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that the City Engineer having reported his findings in the matter of the petitions of protest for the construction of curbs and gutters at the hearing on Resolution No. C -1120, as follows: on the North 6th Street petition alone, 36.75% and on the 1tK't Street petition, 59.45 %. It is ordered that before final action is taken, that the residents on North 6th Street be contacted relative to their decision of whether or not they wish to proceed with the creating of a Local Improvement district for doing said work, carried: Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call. Huza absent. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that Resolution No. C -1127, authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement on behalf of the City of Yakima with Darrell Underwood for the extension of domestic water service to his premises at the Yakima Municipal Airport, upon the terms and conditions set forth in said agreement, carried: Burns and Huey -voting aye on roll call. Huza absent. RESOLUTION NO. C -11291 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a memorandum of agreement with Darrell Underwood, a lessee of a portion of the Yakima Municipal Airport, for the extension of domestic water service to said leased premises, upon the terms and conditions more fully stated therein, a copy thereof being attached hereto.
