The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Huza and Huey
present on roll call.
The minutes of-the regular meeting of Monday, January 4th, 1954 and adjourned meetings
thereof were approved as read.
Moved by Huza, seconded by Burns, that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give notice
to bidders for Oil, Gas, Grease, Diesel, Solvent, etc;, also oil treated stoker coal and
crushed rock; said bids to be received on Friday, January 22nd 1954, at 10:00 o *clock
a.m., carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call.
(Moved by Huza, seconded by Huey, that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give notice
to bidders for Flouresent Lamps and Globes for the City Hall, and also Lamps, Globes,
Photo -flash Bulbs and Flashlight Lamps for the Police Department; said bids to be received
on Monday, January 25th 1954 at 2:00 otclock P.M., carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting
Jaye on roll call.

ments during the month of December 1953 be approved as follows:

Moved by Huey, seconded by Huza, that Resolution No. C -1100 providing for the employment
of Donald W. Livingston as City Planning Consultant at a salary of $350.00 per month
be adopted as read, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call
RESOLUTION NO. C -11001 BE IT RESOLVED BY.THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the City of Yakima does hereby employ Donald W. Livingston as City Planning
Consultant and that his salary shall be in the sum of $350.00 per month.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, this 11th day of January, 1.954.
