The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Burns. and Commissioners. Carpenter and
Huey present on roll call.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 16th 1953, were approved as read.
Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare
an amendment to the existing Zzoning ordinance to define the word "dispense` as used. in:
said ordinance, to mean "'to dispose of intoxicating liquor on the-premises". carried:-1---1
Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that the resolution to approve the annexation of
certain property petitioned for by G. Dowe McQuesten and other living in said vicinity
be postponed by reason of an error in the description,to Monday March 30,, 1953 at
10 : -00 o'clock A.M., carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, March 27, 1953
at 10:30 o'clock A.M., carried: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
ADJOURNED MEETING, FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 1953, 10 :30 A-.M.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Burns and Commissioners °Carpenter,
and Huey present on roll call.
Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that a folding machine be purchased for use by the
City Treasurer in the sum of $442.26, carried: Burns, Carpenter and Hue,Y voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter 'that we do now adjourn, carried: Burns, Carpenter
and Huey voting aye on roll call.
