The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Burns and Commissioner Huey present on
roll call, Commissioner Carpenter absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 19th 1953, were approved as read.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that the City Engineer having reported the completion
of the Snowmountain Road Sewer Dis:trict, L:.I.D. No. 737, by the Contractor; said work is
hereby accepted and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said
district, and .the City Clerk instucted to give notice of Hearing on said roll for
Monday, the 16th day of February 1953, at 10:00 of clock A-.M., carried: Burns and Huey
voting aye on roll call, Commissioner Carpenter absent.
RESOLUTION N0. C -1039, WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of a 1947 Ford-Sedan.,
Motor No. 799 -A:- 1816876, which has-been furnished to the YAKIMA COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
for. use in carrying on the functions of said Department, and,
WHEREAS!, the Yakima County Health District has been established and has
taken over the duties of the Yakima County Health Department, and
WHEREAS, it isfor the best interests, of the people of the City of Yakima to
participate in the work of the Yakima County Health District, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION of the City of Yakima:
That the title and ownership of the 1947 Ford Sedan automobile, Motor No.
799 -A-1846876, owned by the City of Yakima, be transferred to the Yakima County Health
District, and the Clerk of the City of Yakima be and she is hereby instructed to forth -
with execute the necessary instruments to transfer the title and ownership of ,,said
automobile from the City of Yakima to the Yakima. County Health Diatrict.
ADOPTED by the .City Commission this 26th day of January, 1953..

Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that Resolution No. C-1039 be adopted as read, carried:
Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call, Commissioner Carpenter absent.
ORDINANCE NO. B -1424, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of
assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement
District No. 738, and providing for the issuance of bonder with coupons...,attached for the
payment of the unpaid portion thereof.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that Ordinance No. B -1424 be passed as read, carried:
Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call,, Commissioner Carpenter absent.
Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, January 30, 1953
at 2; :00 o'clock P.M,., carried, Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call, Commissioner
Carpenter absent.
ADJOURNED MEETING, FRIDAY, JANUARY 30, 1953, 2: :00 O'CLOCK P.M.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Carpenter
and Huey present on roll call.
Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns that whereas a committee: composed of Dr. Ca:ppell,
Ed Mueller and Don 11eith have req.ues -ted that fees be paid by the .City of Yakima; to
doctors caring for patients delivered by the Police Department to Emergency Hospitals, .in
the City of Yakima; It is ordered that said request be taken under advisement,. carried:
Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by.Carpenter, that.we do now adjourn, carried: Burns, Carpenter
and Huey voting aye on roll call.
