The City Commission met in.regular session, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Carpenter.a.nd
Huey present on roll calla
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 15th 1952, were approved as read.
Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, :. that this being the ti?;ae •for; receiving .bids(•on
Gas, Oil, Grease, etc. , Crushed Rock, salt and Incadescent and Floursent Lamps: it- is
ordered that the Yakima Cement Produts Company be awarded the bid on crushed rock in
the sum of $8,555.00 and the Leslie Salt Company be awarded the bid on salt.in the sum
of $27.94 per ton, other bids were taken under advisement, carried:. Burns, Carpenter
and Huey voting aye on roll call..
Moved? by Burns, seconded by Carpenter, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorizes
to execute a contract on behalf of the City of 1Tal�ima, with the U.So Department of
Interior Bureau of Reclamation and Grandview Irrigation District relative to additional•
water supply, carried: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this .being the time for the hearing on the
assessment. roll in L..I.D. No. 739, and there being no objection in writing or otherwise
to said assessments, or any part thereof: It is ordered that Ordinance No. B- 1418 .
confirming said assessment roll be passed as read :� carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey,;
voting aye , on roll call.

Improvement District No. 739 as' created and established by Ordinance No. B -1371 of the
Ordinances of. the City of Yakima. !
