The. minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 8th 1952., were approved as read.. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for receiving bids for the purchase of a snowplow for the Airport, the bid of Cole Commercial Company of Seattle in the sum of $8,,500.00 plus state sales tax, was the only bid received; said bid was awarded to said company, carried: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to advertise; for bids to be received on Monday, December 29th 1952, at the hour of 10:00 orclock A.M. as follows: one 2'ton truck chassis and garbage bed for the Sanitation Department;: one 4 -door sedan for the Police Department, carried:: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that this being the time for the hearing on. Resolution No. C -1034, providing for the construction of a sewer system and domestic water district on Richey Road, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement, or any part thereof; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1417, creating L.I.D. No. 747, be- passed as read, carried: Burns; Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B- 1417, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a sewer and by the construction° of a domestic waster system, establishing a local improvement district, providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a. special fund.
