The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Carpenter a --nd
Huey present on roll call..
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,.December 1st 1952, were approved as read.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that the City Engineer having reported the completi
of the alley paving in L..I.D. No. 746, by the contractor, said work is hereby accepted
and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district, and they
City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, December 29th
1'952, at 10:00 o'clock A.M., carried; Burns., Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
M.oved,by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that the City Engineer having reported the completi

and the City Engineer.a uthoriz.ed to prepare an assessment roll for said district end the.

1:952 at 10:00 o'clock A.M.,, carried Burns, Carpenter . and Huey voting 'aye on roll call.
IMovea by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for receiving bids on a Fire
Engine Pump the following were received:-
Howard - Cooper Corp.
Cascade Fire Equipment Company

said bids were taken under advisement, carried;, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye
on'roll call.
Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give
notice to bidders, for the purchase of Gas, Oil, Grease, Solvent and et.c., crushed rock,
and a -_ carload of salt; and electrical lamps for the year 1953:;: all bids to be received
on Monday, December 22nd 1952', at 10;00 o'clock k.M..,. carried; Burns, Carpenter and
Huey voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for the hearing on the,
assessment roll in L...I.D. No. 738, and there being no objections in writing, or otherwise,
to said assessment or any part thereof; it is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1416 confirming
said assessment roll, and every part thereof, be passed as read9 carried: Burns, Huey
and Carpenter voting aye on, roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.. B -1416, AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improve-
ment District No. 73 "8, as created and established but Ordinance No. B -1369 of the
Ordinances of the City of Yakima.
Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Huey, that we do now adjourn, .carried.- Burns, Carpenter
and Huey voting aye on roll call.
