The City Commission :met in regular session, Mayor Burns, and Commissioner Huey present on
on roll call,. Commissioner Carpenter absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,, October 2.7th 1952, and adjourned meeting
thereof were approved as read.
Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that this b eing the time for receiving bids for an
electric. calculator; the following were received
Monroe Calculator Co., Inc. '$ 543.43
Marchant Calculators Inc. Model C10 -EFA 671.00
Model C10 DRX 486.50
Commercial Office Equipment Uo. 593.43:
The above bids were taken under advisement; carried: Burns and Huey voting aye on roll
call, Carpenter Absent.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that the City Engineer having reported the completion"
of the 25th Avenue South Curb and Gutter District,' L.I.D. No. 742, by the contractor,
said work is hereby accepted,, and the City Engineer instructed to prepare an assessment
roll for said .district; and the City Clerk authorized to give notice .of hearing on said
roll for Monday, November 24th 1952 at 10: :00� o'clock A.M.,, carried', :„ Burns. and Huey
voting aye on roll call,. Carpenter absent.
Moved by Burns >, seconded by Huey, that the report of the Investment Committee. for
investments purchased during the month of October 19522, be approved as follows;
