The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday October 20th, 1952 were approved as read.. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for hearing on the assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 736, and there being insufficient protest against said assessment roll or any part thereof; -It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1404, confirming said assessment roll, and every part thereof, be passed as read, carried: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye.on roll call. ORDINANCE N0, B.- 1404,, AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 736 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -1357 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima. r Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns:; that Ordinance No.. B -1405 fixing time of delinquency and prescribing form of bond in L-.I.D 0 No. 723, be passed as read,, carried: Burns, Carpenter and Huey present on roll call.. ORDINANCE N0, B- 1405,. AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied-for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 723,. and.providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for th& payment of the unpaid portion thereof.. Moved,, by Huey, seconded by Burns., that Ordinance No. B -1406, fixing time of delinquency and prescribing form of bonds in L.I.D. No. 731, be passed as read,, carried: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE N0. B -214, entitled: "'AN ORDINANCE relating to organization and personnel of the Police Department of the City of Yakima, providing 'for the appointment of members: thereof a °nd" repeal ing Ordinance No. A� -20G-;" as amended by Ordinance No. B -665, and Ordinance No, B -867. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that Ordinance No.. B -1408 providing for payment of back '.. salary of Paul Mosebar, Fireman, be passed as read, carried: Burns:., Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE N0, B -1408r AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds not provided for in the 1952 budget, for the payment of salary for a fireman, and declaring an emergency. Moved by Burns., seconded by Carpenter,. that we do now -ad journ to meet Wednesday, October 29th 1952, at 10 :00j o'clock A..M., carried, Burns, 'Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29th 19521, 10:00 O'CLOCK A.M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Huey and Carpenter present on roll call. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that Burgess Carratt, Superintendent at Municipal Airport, proceed to get information regarding costs of installation of conduits in the same trench as the C .A.A.. will use for cables used in the installation of 'I .L.S. and that the City Attorney be authorized to draw an emergency ordinance to take care of costs.. The above motion and action is based on the advice of C. F. Cash, State Examiner, carried: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on.roll call. Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that the bid of the Commercial Equipment Company for an electric Calcu7a for for theCity Treasurer is hereby rejected and the bid heretofore advertised for Monday, November 3rd. 1952-, be ratified and confirmed, carried: Burns:, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call..
