The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday September 29th 1952, were approved as read. Moved by Carpenter,, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for the hearing on the 1953- budget, said hearing is hereby continued to Friday, October 10th 1952 at 10:00 o'clock A.M., carried: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that the City Engineer having reported *the completion of the sewer system in L.I.D. No. 736, said improvement is hereby accepted as d the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, October 27th 1952, at 10.00 o'clock A.M., carried: Biirns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. Moved by Burns, seconded by,Carpenter, that the report of the Investment Committee for investments purchased during the month of September 1952, is hereby approved as follows: September 30, 1952 City Commission Yakima, Washington Gentlemen: The following investments were purchased furing the month of September: Firemen's Relief and Pension Yakima L.I.D. #728 Bonds 115 1,474.38 1'9474,38 L:. RICHTER Treasurer Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C -1030, providing for the paving of the alley from Division to Haynes Street, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improverre nt or any part thereof It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1396 creating L.I.D. No. 745 be passed as read, carried; Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1396, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of the alley from Division Street to Haynes Street between Queen Avenue and Twelfth Avenue South, by grading and paving with asphaltic concrete placed on a:gravel base; establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor, andi creating a special fund. Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that this being the time for the hearing on the adjournment of hearing on the assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 729, and there being insufficient protest against the whole of said district; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1397 confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as read, carriedr Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE N0. B -13971 AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 729 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -1310 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima. Moved. by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for the hear ing on the annexation of a portion-of N. lst Street in the City of Yakima, and there being, insufficient protes -t against said annexation, or any part thereof;; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B' -1398 providing for the ara nexation of said property be passed as read, carried :: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1398, AN ORDINANCE providing for the annexation by the City of Yakima, Washington, of certain property contiguous to the City of Yakima, Washington. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that Ordinance No.. B- 1399, fixing the time of delinquency of installment and issuing bonds in L.I.D. No. 726, be passed as read, carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. B -1399, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of ,the improvement in. Local Improvement District No. 726, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by B urns, seconded by Huey, that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, October 10th 1952, at 1.0:,00 ofelock A.M.,, carried: Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING,.. It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1400: fixing the amount of expenditures and receipts of the City of Yakima for 1953, be passed as read, Carpenter and Huey voting Aye on roll call, Mayor Burns not voting, carried. ORDINANCE N0. B -14002 AN ORDINANCE fixing the amount of the tax levies necessary to raise the amount of the estimated expenditures of the City of .Yakima, Washington, for the ensuing year to be levied upon the real and personal .pr.operty'of said city.
