The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday., June. 30, 1952: were approved as read. Moved' by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that the bid of Harry Dick, for the purchase of a house at 806 Broadway, in the sum of $100.00, is hereby accepted, carriede Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO.. C- 1025,, BE IT RE_ SOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to improve the north side of Nob Hill Boulevard., from 16th Avenue South to the Wiest Corporate City Limits; by grading, ballasting,, surfacing and constructing concrete curbs and gutters;: all of said improvements to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of notices, and all .other expenses incident thereto, shall. be paid out of the 'City Street Department- funds, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission all of the data.and other information required by law to be by him submitted. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that the City Cl; rk is hereby insturcted to publish notice to bidders, as required by law to improve the north side of Nob Hill Boulevard from 16th Avenue: South to the West Corporate by grading, ballasting, surfacing and. constructing concrete curbs and gut ters said b ids> to b e received on Wednesday the; 23rd day of July. 1952 at 10 :00 o'clock A.M., carried; Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE N0. B -1380, AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds for the purpose of constructing an addition to the Yakima Municipal Airport Administration Building, which said funds, were not provided for in the 1952 budget, and declaring an emergency. M`ovbd by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that Ordinance No. B- 1380, providing for funds; for constructing an addition to Yakima Municipal Airport Administration Building be passed as read:; carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
