The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, May 5th 1952, and adjourned meeting thereof were approved as read. Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that this being the time for receiving bids for the construction of paving various alleys in the City of Yakima, created by L.I.D. No. 731, the following were received :' Lone Pine Company $5,561.60 Columbia Asphatl Paving Company 5,.962.45, It is ordered that the bid be awarded. to Lone Pine Paving Company, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City 'of Yakima for doing said work: carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Huey, that the City Engineer having reperted the com- pletion of the construction of a sewer system in L..I..D. No. 733, said work is hereby a.ccepted, and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing op_ the assessment roll for Monday, June 2nd 1952 at 10 :00 o'clock A.M.: carried, Burns., Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. , Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that the City Clerk is hereby insturcte:d to give notice to bidders for the ;purchase of water pipe_; said bids to be received on Monday, May 26, 1952 -at 10 :00 o'clock A -.M.: carried, Carpenter, Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call. Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that this being the time for the hearing on. Resolution No. C -1010, providing for a sewer system in the "Uplands" Addition, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvem nt, or-any part thereof; it is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1368 providing for the creation of L.I.D. No. 737, to passed as read. carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll. call. s ORDINANCE NO. B -1368, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of pr ope rty in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a sewer; establishing a Local Im;r ovement District;: providing for the method of payment therefor; and creating a special fund. RESOLUTION NO. C= 1016, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE 'CITY OF YAKIMA: That it is its intention to improve the alleys in Block 130, %zson's Addition and in Block 48, Yakima, by grading and paving with asphaltic concrete placed on a gravel base; all of said i °nprovements to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to.be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City C1erl The district to be served by and assessed for the above described im- provements is described as follows, to -wit. The tots In Block 130,. Juson's Addition and in Block 48, Yakima, acccr ding to the official plats thereof recorded in Yakima County, Washington. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are here- by notified to T pear and present such objection, if an y, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima, County, Washington,. at the hour of 10 :00 a' clock A.M.., 'on Monday, the 2nd day of June, 1952;- which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of pay- ment fox- said improvement;: and the City Clergy; is hereby directed to give due notict of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The costs and expenses of s aid improvement, including the cost of acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying,. advertising, publication of notices, and all other expenses :incident thereto, shall-be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the .City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and .other information required by law to be by him submitted. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF TIE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it-is its intention -to improve Prasch Avenue from 5th Avenue South to 7th Avenue South, by grading, ballasting, surfacing and constructing concrete curbs and gutters; all of said improvements to be constructed in full accordance with the: plans, and specificat ions to be prepared by the City Engineer and. filed with the City Clerk. The district to be served by and assessed for the above - described im- provement is situate in Yakima County, Washington, and describe& as follows, to -wit: Beginning at ehe intersection of Prasch Avenue and 7th Avenue south,, thence northerly along 7th Avenue South to a point midway between Prasch Avenue and Lenox Avenue, thence easterly along a line midway between gralsch Avenue and Lenox Avenue to 5th Avenue South, thence southerly along 5th Avenue South to a point midway between Prasch Avenue and Viola Avenue, thence westerly along a line midway between Prasch Avenue and Viola.
