A letter from the Secretary of the Grandview Irrigation District to the Mayor of Yakima, stated that -the above named District had accepted the bid of the City of Yakima for storage water rights, and that a. contract assigning their rights would be submitted in the near future* Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that upon the report and recommendation.of the City ,Engineer, the proposed irrigation district in the Rose Park Addition, L.IeD Noe 732 , was abandoned and that Ordinance Noe .1348 repealing Ordinance Noe 5-1342, which created. said district, be repealed es read: carried, Burris, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll calle = ORDINANCE NO. B- 1348, repealing Ordinance Noe B ®1342, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, -by constructing an irrigation -system to•serve various lots and tracts of land; extablishing a Local Improvement District;" providing for the method -of payment therefor, and creating a. special fund.1s . RESOLUTION Noe C -1002; WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Yakima deems it necessary to procure real property adjacent to West Lenox. Avenue in said city, for use as part of , the - proposed Lenox Avenue Over -rasa and WHEREAS, the following described real property, to wit; The North 50 %feet. -of Lot 24, 131 ock 1,, `and the North. -50 feet of Lot 1, Block 2, Terminal Addition; according to the: plat thereof recorded in ';Volume I of Plats., page 42, .records of. Yakima County, Washington,•, = • - < has been determined to be necessary for the approach to said Lenox Avenue Over - Pass- and -the cowner thereof, :. :namely,..
