The City Commission met in regular session, . Mayor Burns and Commissioner Huey present
:on roll call. Commissioner Carpenter absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 15th, 1952, were approved as read.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time f or'the hearing on
Resolution No. C -006, and there being a petition of protest filed: It is ordered that
.said project be tabled for. the present time; . carried, Burns -and• Huey
voting aye on roll call. µ
Moved 'by Huey,, seconded by Burns that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to advertise
:for bids for the cons.truction of an irrigation system in Rose Park, 'L.I.D. Na. 732';
said bids to be received on Monday, the 4th day of February 1952:at 10 :00otclock A. M.. :.
carried, Burns and Huey voting aye on roll.ca 11.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to advertise
for bids for the construction of a sewer system in a portion of "The Uplands" tract
and other property in L,.I.D: No. 733 .,; said bids to be received on Monday, February 4,
1952'at 10 :00.otclock A.M.:. Carried, Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for the hearing on
Resolution No. C -997, providing for the construction of a sewer in a portion of "The
Upland ", and other property, and there being insufficient protest against savid
improvement, or any part thereof; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1343, creating
L..I.D. No. 733, be Passed as read: Carried, Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -1343, providing for the improvement of props rty .in the City of Yakima.
Washington, by the construction of a sewers establishing a Local Improvement District;
providing for' the method of payment therefor; and creating a ,special fund.
