The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Carpenter
and Huey present on roll call.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 7, 1952, were approved as read.
Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for receiving bids for
Gas, Oil; Grease; Diesel, etc. for the ensuing year, that the bids: received be:
accepted and awards made upon receipt of tabulation thereof: carried, Burns, Huey
and Carpenter voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that upon recommendation by C: F. Cash, State
Ekaminer, a car load of salt be ordered without calling for bids, the price being
universal;- carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call,
property owners were heard again on Resolution No.-C -995, providing for the construction
of an irrigation system and upon request of property owners in the district and the
report of the City Engineer, it was decided to eliminate certain property from-the
district and to adjourn said hearing until Tuesday, January 15, 1952:
ADJOURNED MEETING, TUESDAY, JANUARY. 15, 1951.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Huey
and Carpenter present on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that Ordinance No. B- 13:42: providing for the ' establish-
ment of Local Improvement District No. 732:, be passed as read: carried,-Carpenter., -
Burns and Huey voting aYe on roll call,
ORDINANCE NO. B- 1342., providing for the improvement of property-in the •City of Yakima,
Washington, by constructing an irrigation system to serve various lots and tracts of
land; establishing a Local Improvement District; providing for the method payment
pament
therefor, and creating a special fund.
Moved by.Burns -, seconded by Carpenter, that we do now adjourn; Carried, Carpenter,
Burns and Huey voting aye on roll call.
