ORDINANCE NOe B -1341, relating to the retention of retirement credits by former employees of the City Public Library: Moved by Burns,_ econded by Huey, that at a re- hearing on Resolution No. C- 995-relative to an 'irrigation system in Rose Park District, the City Engineer made the following report: The City Commission Yakima, Washington Gentlemen: January 2, 1952'. In checking over the T otests on the Rose P "ark.Irrigation District, I find as follows; Taking the District as. a whole 40,93%, , protest The area east of 34th. Avenue alone 5:8.16% " Rose Park only 21.90% Eliminating the property owned by the Construction Co. from Rose Park 40.93% " From the above, it would appear that the portion east of 34th. Avenue should be eliminated. This is the second time this area has petitioned for irrigation and then protested. It appears that the Rose Park people want the system, but I think that another petition will be in before Monday next. Eliminating the area east of 34th. Avenue will necessarily make a.diff erence in the assessment on the balance of the District and I would not care to make a statement regarding the additional cost until:.further study is made. Yours very truly, (signed) A. Be Collins A.. B. Collins, City Engineer Pend ng-actiori'•on the above report; It'is'ordered that final disposition in said'matter be delayed until the property owners in said district report on their decisions: carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. oved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that we do now adjourn :. carried, Burns, Huey and arpenter voting aye on roll call.
