The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 24th, 1951, were approved as read. Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that this being the time for the . hearing on Resolution No'. C -9.95, providing for an irrigation •system from South Grandview Avenue; to Nob Hill Boulevard, and there being objections,•to� said improvement; It is ordered that said hearing be continued to Monday, January 7th.19'52, at 10;00 o'clock A. M.; carried, Burns., Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call... Moved, by Burns, seconded by Carpenter, that this being the time for receiving bids for the purchase of a Motorcycle. for the Police Department, and two a ton trucks for the Electrical and Irrigation departments, the following awards were made: Poulin's Motorcycle Headquarters for Harley- Davidson, Model 52GA less trade in of old cycle in the total sum of $998.60. Wagner-Chevrolet-Company for 1952' Chevrolet 2 ton truck, less trade -in of 1935 Ford, or a total of $1,335.00. Weber- Chevrolet Company for 1952 Chevrolet a ton. truck for Irrigation, less trade - -in of 1929 model. A 12 dump truck, - or a total of $1,347.00; carried, Carpenter, Burns and Huey voting aye.on roll call. C. -998, BE IT RESOLVED BY' THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: Said improverrent to consist of the installation of the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves; and other appurtenances for the purpose of supplying water for domestic use, and to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed wI th the City Clerk. All persons who may desire'to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections., if any, at a meeting of the City Com- mission, to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of 10:.00 o'clock A.M. on Monday, the 28th day of January, 1952:; which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing on all matters relating to the said pr oposed improvement, or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.. .The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, inspection, publication of notices and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable. therefor, as p"'ovided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted. No. 719, be passed as read; carried,-Huey, burns and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE N0. B -1338, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Imp^ ovement District, No. 719, and W oviding for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. ORDINANCE NO. B -1339, -amending Section 71 (a) of Ordinance No.•B -131, entitled.
