The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 17th, 1951.,, were approved as read. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns that this being the time for receiving bids for as.: dump body and hoist for the Sanitation Department and the bid of South Tacoma W61ding and Equipment Company, in the sum of $1,287.50 being the only bid received, said bid was awarded to said company: carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey .voting aye on roll call RESOLUTION N0. C -9962 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WA C? -TT V CT OV That it is its intention to improve Prash Avenue from Broadway to 7th Avenue South; also Logan Avenue.from 4th Avenue South to 7th Avenue; South, by grading, ballasting, surfacing and constructing concrete - curbs avid .gutters; all of said improvements to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be preapred by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. The district to be served by and assessed for the above described improvement is situate.in Yakima County, Washington; and described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the intersection of Broadway and Prasph Avenue;; thence southerly along Broadway to a point midway between Pra:_sch Avenue and' Viola Avenue.; thence westerly along a line midway between Prasch Avenue and Viola Avenue, to 7th Avenue South; thence northerly along 7th Avenue South to a point; midway.between Prasch Avenue and Lenox Avenue; thence easterly along a line midway between Pre-sch Avenue and Lenox Avenue to S,roadway ; thence southerly along Broadway to the point of beginning; also,, beginning at the: intersection of 4th Avenue South and Logan Avenue; thence southerly along 4th Avenue South to a point midway between Logan Avenue,and Mead Avenue; .thence westerly along a line midway between Logan Avenue and Mead Avenue: to 7th Avenue South; thence northerly along 7th Avenue South to a point midway between'Logan Avenue and Viola Avenue; thence easterly along a line midway between Logan Avenue and Viola Avenue to 4th Avenue South; thence southerly along 4th Avenue South to the point of beginning. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office .in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of 10:00 o'clock A.M. on Monday, the 21st day of January., 1952;-which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all. matters relating to said proposed.improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the ne thod of payment for said improvement; . and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said Yn aring and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of acquiring right of-way easements, engineering, . surveying, advertising, .publication of notices, and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property; legally and properly assessable therefor, as provided by law, and as, above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all',of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted. C -9979 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to improve the lots and tracts of land included - within the, following described district,_by constructing pipe sewers rod th the necessary wye branches, drains, manholes, flush tanks and water connections therefor; all of said improvements to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. The district to be served by and special ly Veneficed by and assessed for the above - described improvement is situate within the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, and is bounded as follows:: Lots 1 to Lots 1 to Lots 1 to Lots 1 to Lots 1 to Lots 1 to Lots 1: to Lots. 1.to 13, Block 16;, 16, Block 17; 14, Block 18'; 14, Block 19; 5, and Lots 14 6, Block 23; 16, Block 24; 16, Block 25; to 20..
